This was my first time coming to Kitami. I didn’t grab my servers name but she did a great job. I asked her about a chefs special roll and she was not wrong, it was great. I also ordered two other rolls — a cucumber eel roll and yellowfin roll. Based on my selections she went out of her way to offer other recommendations for future visits based on my choices. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. I am going to try her recommendations on the next visit as they both sounded amazing. Thanks for the good food and friendly service.

The waitress was super sweet and fully explained everything to us. Gave us recommendations and helped us with the menu. The food way beyond amazing! The sushi is the best sushi I have had in lafayette. You get your own grill and get to grill your own food. Highly recommend. I plan on going back to try their whole menu.

We went there for the grill and were fairly disappointed. The meat was half frozen when being served and not very fresh..and they were not properly seasoned. The dipping sauce and vege combo were definitely not restaurant quality. Overall, it is overpriced given the food quality. Will not recommend.

We went for dinner on Friday. It took more than 10 minutes for the waiter to come and take our orders after we were seated. When a lady first came to ask about beverages, I tried to place our food order as well, but was told she could only take drink orders. Then we had to wait even longer for another waiter to finally come to our table.We also experienced a considerable wait for our food to arrive. When our food finally came, my hibachi dish wasn't warm (only the rice was hot). It was like our food had been sitting out for a while and had gotten cold. When we were there, I noticed there were only a few waiters. They could really use some extra hands on deck to speed things up.

Me and my daughter had our classic daddy daughter sushi date we love to do this is our first time having sushi in Indiana since moving from utah and I have to say 10 stars and absolutely delicious and fresh fish give it a try also great area downtown Lafayette!! Thank u ?

These guys have the best priced, tastiest vegan sushi options in Lafayette! The sweet potato is one of my personal favorites, it's a warm roll covered in a delicious sticky sauce. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite restaurants!Vegetarian options: They have inari (fried tofu skin with what I believe is sweet soy sauce) sushi and it is amazing!

So me and my boyfriend called this place and ordered ahead he goes in to pick up his food and they said he had the wrong number and that they didn’t get his order he comes to the car I told him to call the number that he called to order and asked for the address the address the number gave us said it was at the same place that he just walked into so I told him to go into the building and to call there phone and guess what it RANG and he finally got his food! So to this restaurant you guys need to change your phone number so you can get your stuff straightened outSincerely, a disappointed customer!
