loved the al pastor tacos! came by on a tuesday for their $2.50 al pastor tacos and found them perfectly lovely and flavorful for a lunch out. the person who took our order was friendly and helpful. horchata was tasty as well
Tremendous tacos. Delicious, like made in Mexico. The pastor is excellent and the golden belly is a delight.I am Mexican, so I recommend any countryman to eat here. The staff's attention is warm, fast and efficient.Great place, I will visit often.

Had a very poor experience with this establishment. First off for 3 tacos, 2 waters (bottle water only) and chips and salsa was $ 25. For lunch. The problem arose when we ordered chips and salsa. Our server brought our meal but no chips. We asked her and she asked if we ordered. We replied yes and went to get them. Then again she comes back to ask if we want chips and salsa. Yes! Again. She then comes back with our extra plate. Still no chips. We ask again. Rudely she says they're not ready yet. Finally she brings them. Once we are finished eating she brings a bill for the chips and said we never ordered them. So I go to pay an additional $ 5 for chips. She starts explaining again why she didn't bring them. I said at this point they should be free. Then another cashier starts trying to explain. I tell her I don't need an explanation. She continues so I pay and go sit Down. To make it worse now her father and owner comes out to see the problem. He is no help and only wanted to defend his daughter and said he didn't care if he was given a bad review. Well here you go sir.

The food is very good and the portions are BIG for each taco, so you definitely get the bang for ur buck! The flavors are very authentic and the tacos were delicious! I tried every single type of taco with cilantro and onion. My only complaint is that the meat to cilantro and onion ratio is a bit too skewed towards the meat so the flavor balance isn't exactly perfect, but I can't complain since they're so generous with the meat. We also got some horchata which was very great and authentic tasting. They got the balance between the flavors just right and the nice touch of cinnamon flavoring. The service is great and kind, and my girlfriend spoke to them in Spanish. You know the tacos are good when it's owned by people speaking Spanish!!!! I like the ambiance of the place and it gives a very nice hole in the wall family owned restaurant feel.

Excellent tacos. One of the best Pastor and Carne Asada tacos in Lafayette. And the hot sauce is spicy, just how I like it. My only gripe is they won’t give you tap water - you have to buy bottled water. Just annoying. Otherwise I’d give 5 stars.
