One of Highway 62’s gems! Great food with an amazing view of the Ohio River.Parking: Plenty of parking across the street and both sides of the restaurant. Parking to the east of the restaurant gives an amazing view of the Ohio River.Wheelchair accessibility: Disables parking area immediately to the front of the restaurant and long ramps to the entry area.
A friend wanted to visit the Overlook after church a week ago so my wife and I drove out there from Jeffersonville to do so. We arrived around 2:30p. It wasn't a long wait and we were seated at a corner with windows facing 2 directions which was nice. We started with some onion rings which were crispy and tasty. Be careful how you eat them. The onion tends to slide out of the batter if just taking a bite of one. Eat them WHOLE or cut them in pieces with a knife. That is what I...read full review

The Overlook is nice. There are lots of good seats to see the river. The food was good, and the service was very slow on a night that didn't seem so busy. I would say it would be better if we didn't have our four little kids, as the food took forever to come to the table. Overall it was a decent place to eat if you are not looking for run of the mill places.
