“Amazing service paired with amazing house-made ice cream! We had four flavors between us and they were all delicious, rich and creamy and thick. The value for cost was amazing, about two dollars a 'scoop'—those two dollars earned a generous and genuinely delicious dish!“

“I ordered the new grilled chicken and it was very good, but the fries were very pale and not cooked long enough. The store was clean this time, the last time we were there all the tables were dirty and the restroom wasn't very clean oh, so it looks like they've improved. The ice cream products there are very , very good. Very very expensive though so we don't go there very often unless it's happy hour. But all in all good place to eat and has improved since the last time I was there.“

“I would call JR's dairy sweet a hidden gem. It has a '50s vibe and the ice cream was great. We had sloppy, joe and Coney dogs also which were really good and the prices were fantastic. The waitress will either come to your car or you can sit on the picnic tables and they bring the food to you. I recommend JR's to anyone“
