This guy is an amazing artist and creates an array of mixed feelings and subject matter, with his hometown as one of the central themes. I loved his work snd style. His parents own the store, so I met his mom Peggy (and she was awesome).

While there are many cute gift shops on Main - how many of them were purchased by proud parents to serve as a gallery for their son's artwork (while still maintaining cute gift shop status!)? Eric Phagan truly is gifted - we were captivated by his Madison-themed work - perfect to have as beautiful works that will be lifelong memories of your trip. His style is unique and adaptable to many interior style aesthetics, without being kitschy. His ceramic works have a more primitive style but still adaptable to many decors.Mom was a delight - and a good source of building history. Bonus - back area is leased to the Creperie!

Gallery 15 is as much a part of history as it is a restaurant. Located at 115 East Main Street in Madison, Indiana, the county seat of Jefferson County, on the Ohio River, the largest city along the Ohio River between Louisville and Cincinnati, bordered on the west by Cliffy Falls State Park, it is part of the largest contiguous National Historic Landmark District in the United States. Madison, with an population of 12,000, with over 55,000 people within 15 miles of downtown, features major architectural styles from the 19th century to the early 20th century. In fact, its entire downtown (over 1,500 buildings on 113 blocks) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is 50 miles north of Louisville and 75 miles east of French Lick. And what is Gallery 115's place in all of this? It is housed in a classy building in the downtown area that also is home to a gift shop and an art studio/gallery, an 1840s building that has had no major construction since 1917. Open from 11 to 5:30 Monday through Thursday, 11 to 6:30 on Friday and 10 to 5 on Saturday, Gallery 115 offers sandwiches, salads, desserts and old-fashioned soda floats. It specializes on such items as bacon spinach quiche and a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with pretzel salad. After strolling through the downtown area, my wife and I stopped for lunch. We started with bowls of tomato bisque, coleslaw and pasta salad with sharp cheddar cheese and bacon. My wife had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich with a side of chili, kettle chips and pickle. I couldn't resist a pimento cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread.

It is a wonderful place to eat and shop in downtown Madison. There is not another place with the distinctive menu
Great history building. Art gallery inside was a nice touch with a small specialty shop. Coffee drinks were great and the crepes were AMAZING

Love this place. It's in an historic building that is an art gallery with cool paintings of Madison and lots of artsy merchandise. In the back is the hidden gem. They serve creative, yummy coffee and the best crepes I've eaten. I had savory crepes with ham, veggies and cheese and my spouse had pears with walnuts in a maple cream sauce. We also tried the pumpkin crepe. Just the right amount of pumpkin and very light. I actually hope not many people read this because I don't want it to become over crowded.
