Tried Ashley's for our first time yesterday Saturday Feb 24, 2024. I order just regular vanilla without any topping because I wanted taste nothing but the ice cream and the texture.At least I can cross you off my bucket list. Will not be returning.I can buy better tasting, and, much more creamer ice cream in a box in any grocery store.Jim L.

I walked in with two kids just minutes before 6:30. I had checked hours on Maps and they are listed at 8/9pm Tuesday-Thursday, but they had a sign on the door that I missed stating that closing is actually 6:30pm Tuesday-Thursday. I felt so bad for the guy behind the counter, but JoRel was so kind, patient, and accommodating. He spent time making sure the kids got want they wanted and even showed some creativity for the kid that wanted chocolate syrup on a cone. His solution saved my car since we obviously took it to go, but JoRel never made us feel rushed. I wish I would have been aware of the updated hours, but JoRel (and the great ice-cream) made it a good experience.Kid-friendliness: Very patient staff when ordering with kids that are shaky on what to get :)
We enjoy visiting Ashley's Ice Cream Cafè because we cherish the architecture of the old building they occupy. It's a fun atmosphere inside! From browsing around the puzzle shelves to discovering a cozy seating area to sit and drink delicious coffee or ice cream. Support local. LOVE. THIS. PLACE. beautiful BEAUTIFUL building. it was a wonderful place to just look at. the girls who were making our icecream were talking about what we can order and how we can order it. my milkshake was absolute fire. i loved how there was an entire section dedicated to puzzles. it can get pricey but the experience is worth it.Kid-friendliness: there is a section dedicated to a kids sensory room

OMG ! I just love Ashley’s. The best ice cream ever. The ice cream is so creamy and it melts in your mouth. Very clean Place. That’s not even the best part they are Kid friendly and have a play area for the kids so if you got kids and want ice cream come to Ashley’s.!!! and let me just say those staff are wonderful!! They are respectful and so nice. 10/10 I RECOMMEND!! ❤️

I was not happy with my service this evening at all. When I first came in I had to wait for the girl to get off her persinal phone call to take my order. I had to repeat my order twice to her due to her not giving her full attention. After paying, I only received half of my order. I stood up at the counter and waited for someone to come out of the back so I could ask them about my order, but instead both employees walked right passed me and started to help other customers and take their orders. I finally got the girls attention who took my order and she said she was sorry she forgot about my cookie order. So I had to wait for her to warm them up. They were definitely not concerned at helping customers and were anticipating closing as they had already locked the doors when other customers were trying to come in.

This is a great place to have ice cream, play games, or observe the aesthetics of a historical building. It’s a really cool building. The people are friendly. The ice cream and donuts are delicious. I am a frequent customer and recommend this place to anyone in the area.

When traveling I always try to find a cute local spot to experience. Today Ashley's was that place. The location is shared with another business inside an old bank that gives some great decor to look at while waiting. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and helpful in describing some of the flavors of the 40+ they have to try. I went with the Exhausted Parent... the name says it all, but it is a coffee and bourbon flavored ice cream with chocolate chunks! SOOO GOOD! And got a Carmel Iced Latte for the road. Both are delicious. Perhaps my favorite feature of this cute stop was the bulletin board of gift cards... other patrons have donated money and filled out post it's with the instructions to take one if you fit the criteria. I absolutely love this idea! If you are ever in Marion, make sure you take the time to stop by for a sweet treat! You won't regret it!

I work for coke and came her on a service call for the first time! The owner offered me some ice cream of any flavor and let me just say it’s the best I’ve had! Very friendly staff and owner, very clean, and amazing ice cream. I will be back with my kids!
