This food was GREAT! My daughter is at IWU and had heard great things - we were not disappointed. Tom Kah was spot on, and the new Satay stir fry was exceptional - I could eat that every day. My daughter was thrilled with the fried rice and the spice levels were perfect. Thanks for the student discount too!

Really great food. Would recommend the Cashew stir fry with beef and black pepper garlic fried rice with shrimp (we got medium spice).

Really good food. I am married to a Thai woman and it is close to her cooking. The flavor profile is South Thailand. My wife is from the north. The Thai curry is sweeter than I am used too but still great. The pad Thai is made with peanuts when they ask if you want peanuts it is the crushed nuts for the garnishment not the recipe. So allergic people beware. Tasted great though.

I love this place! The staff is always so sweet, and food is always top notch! My fav dishes are the cashew stir fry (and I add ginger for a small upcharge which is SO WORTH IT!) and the crab rangoon! Their Rangoons are my favorite goons of all timmmmmmme. They are different than any other place I've had crab rangoon. I feel like a lot of places just make them mostly crispy wrapper and sometimes the filling is even dried out. Not Jay's! The way they fold it allows for way more creamy crabby goodness to be stuffed inside. The wrapper is soft and chewy except for the edge you get that crispy crunch! Just simply perfection. Thank you, Jay's Thai! My only wish is that you were open everyday, haha. I swear I crave you most on Monday's when you're closed! But I also 100% understand that small businesses need a dang day off! Lol. Ok, now I'm thinking about y'all, I think I'm gonna call in an order

My wife and I are what you call pepper heads so I ordered the hottest version of the food we ate. Most restaurants claim that their hottest is hot but it never is. Kudos to Jays Thai Food for making a truly hot dish. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

We had a good time at Jays Thai Food tonight. The food was pretty good. We had a large group. The service was okay. The food was a little slow in coming out. They even forgot an order for one of the people from our group. He had to go to the counter to remind them about his order. The waitress apologized and offered him a ten percent discount on his food.

Should have read the reviews before ordering the z ew. Z ewwww is correct. I’ve had had pad se ew that taste like just way to much tamarind, maybe ketchup, idk it wasn’t good. The spice is perfect, but the sauce taste like someone without taste buds made it. Before you think I’m being judgmental. Look at my reviews of all the Thai places I goto and eat. The Tom kha was good, the shrimp in a spring roll wrapper, good also. Very friendly service.

We waited over an hour to eat “pad-se-ew” and “fried rice”.We actually didn’t initially order these dishes as we wanted some Pad Thai. They ran out of the noodles.Because we weren’t able to get what we initially wanted, they offered some free appetizers. We chose the chicken spring rolls, as they told us it was the most popular. These were not seasoned and tasted like fried yesterdays leftover materialsAfter over 50 minutes of putting in our initial order, we finally got our food. My Pad Se Ew tasted like someone dumped soy sauce and sugar on top of some noodles. Imagine if someone who never tasted Thai food in their life was asked to cook this dish, this is exactly how it tasted. My wife order a spicy fried rice, what we got was a soggy rice dish with some vegetables. I’ve never seen fried rice come out looking like a risotto at a Thai restaurant before.I’m hoping this isn’t normal for this restaurant as it’s gotten great reviews. We had a TERRIBLE experience but hopefully they get their act together as I would love a good Thai place close to my house.

I have tried to support this place for several years. We drive about 45 minutes each way to order food from Jays. We absolutely LOVE Thai food! The service and customer service in general is terrible. We often have to order things mild or without items for our toddler who loves Thai food as well. Tonight the staff was making comments as we were paying about how many items we asked for our order to be made without. It was frustrating and rude. We don't have to make the drive to support them but have chosen to spend our money there. The website even lists that menu items can all be made to order and changed to add or take away things. Hopefully our next experience will be better. By the time we got out to go order home our mild items were actually very spicy so our toddler and I ended up eating Mac & cheese instead. It was a bummer after we had been so excited for our food!
