We've only been once, but the food was wonderful and the owner fantastic! He took us on a house tour and shared fascinating information about the engineering/architecture, design, materials and history of the building. He is delightful! Our server was very casual (in dress & manner--a bit odd in a more formal setting), but provided what we needed.

This is just a review of the buffet. The customer service here is great, and we enjoyed hearing stories from the owner. The buffet has soups and salads available, as well as several entrees. It was nice to be able to try a lot of the different options there and the food was good, but I couldn't help but think that the homemade menu options that weren't on the buffet would have been really good. Still, the buffet was good to experience!
Food was awful, they got one of the 4 entrees wrong, dirty windows, prices on the site don't match what's on the menu, food was not hot enough, veal was VERY tuff and flavorless. I would not recommend this place. On a positive note they do offer a military discount.

OMG!!! This restaurant is everything Italian in Marion, Indiana, no less. The appetizer, meal, dessert, wines vavoom!!! The Italian owner/chef explained the charcuterie board, he let us try a red wine with special chocolates, only for special customers. Love him and his restaurant. Definitely going again.

Charming decor.Elegant but unassuming.Exceptional and well prepared authentic regional Italian ethnic cuisine.Staff was personable and engaging.There are vegetarian options as each dish is individually prepared.There is plenty of parking avaliable.Pompeii is a gem in our community.
My son wanted an Italian restaurant. So his aunts stumbled this one.It has a vintage look. Which my sisters love.The service was extremely friendly. The chef even cut the steak for us. ...The food was authentic Italian. It was delicious. We had a wonderful dinner.
