Really good shushi. I made the mistake of ordering cashew chicken, and they brought out crispy chicken. My (adult) kids loved their sushi! Atmosphere is crowded, and annoyingly bell kept ringing everytime someone walked in. And they do a lot of carry out!

Get someone that understands English to answer the phone and take to go orders. Multiple times ordering and the orders get messed up. Good items added or missed both times ordering out recently. This place used to be awesome. Not so much anymore

Such a cute little spot... We took our son and his girlfriend for dinner one night. I was so pleasantly happy with the service and the quality of food. It was delicious. And the sushi was pretty fresh. We had a pretty great time. And in the process found a new spot for them to dine... They do have a lot for parking.

Doesn't serve alcohol. Can't believe a "steakhouse" doesn't serve drinks. Ruined my experience. Got the tiger roll and it was mediocre. If you want Asian food order take out somewhere else

Although it's listed as "Yamato," this place is now called Sakura, which doesn't appear on Yelp! as its own place, but this is the same place I went for dinner a couple of nights ago.I am struggling with what to say about it. There are some things to recommend it. It's local, and not a chain. The food is prepared fresh, the prices seem reasonable, and they do a robust take-out business, so they're apparently well thought of by the locals. Dining in, I started my dinner with hot sake. The inexpensive variety of heated sake that most Japanese restaurant have (Gekkeikan or Sho Chiku Bai are most popular) seemed to be all Sakura has. When I asked my server about whether they had any of the more upscale, unfiltered, or better quality offerings, she seemed puzzled. Their selection of beer is modest, and wines are almost non-existent.For the food, I chose a Bento box with teriyaki chicken, vegetables, four pieces of California roll, two crab Rangoon, and fried rice. I started with Miso soup, though I also had the choice of a salad. The soup was very good, if a little saltier than others I've had - but not unpleasant at all. It came with a soup spoon in case I didn't want to sip directly from the bowl, as is customary. When my Bento box arrived, it was obviously hot and fresh, but there was no wasabi for the California roll, nor did my server bring chopsticks. A quick trip to the sushi prep area (can't really call it a sushi bar) and I got what I was after, though it seemed odd not to bring those items automatically. The California roll was tasty, as was the tender slivers of teriyaki chicken. The vegetables were piled under the chicken and slathered with the teriyaki sauce. Other Bentos I've had included tempura veggies but these were fine; crisp-tender, not overcooked. The so-called "fried rice," however, was more like plain brown rice. No hunks of veggies, egg, or bits of barbecue pork that are typical in fried rice. And that's OK, but one is not the other. The portions were generous enough that I took some back to the hotel for lunch the next day.I can overlook the service, considering that the lone server had to answer the phone, greet guests who were dining in, and handle all the take-out orders. The atmosphere inside, though, was a bit odd. It's pretty generic, and the music they were playing could be described as "house trance," which doesn't say "Asian restaurant" to me. Maybe that's why so many people get the food "to go" and don't linger.So... the food is pretty good but given the not-so-great service and the poor selection of adult beverages, I'll probably try somewhere else next time I need my Asian fix.

Enjoyed this restaurant. Better than I expected it to be, judging by appearances.

So good! I had the pink lady roll and a vegetarian california roll. Others at the table tried the sushi lunch special, the spicy miso pork ramen, and the vegetable tempura lunch. All were rated 5/5 :)Vegetarian options: They have a small portion of the sushi menu specifically for vegetarian rolls — I tried the vegetarian california roll and I enjoyed it a lot!
