I went in ahead of time to ask Debbie if there were wheelchair accessible tables available. Debbie showed me the seating area, asked which table my family and I preferred, and made certain that our table was wiped off. Debbie even came out from behind her podeum to open the door for my wheelchair-bound mom, elderly dad, and me. Debbie is a rockstar, and her warm, loving, stellar service stole the show today at IHOP in Merrillville, IN.Wheelchair accessibility: The handicapped parking, the entrance, and the seating area is very accommodating to wheelchair-bound diners. But DEBBIE (the phenomenal door hostess) went the extra mile to make wheelchair accessibility a breeze.

This place has gone down hill over the years. Recently visited due to daughter's request and even she was disappointed. Bathrooms were gross, waitress didn't check on us or offer napkins to go with messy pancakes. I will never go back scouts honor ?.

IHOP was clean, Chloe was a wonderful server, the chicken strips, salads, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and hash browns were all good but the price paid here was a bit high compared to other restaurants for the amount of food we got. I got 5 chicken strips & a salad for $13! Good food & service, but high prices for what's included, which ain't much.

We were greeted as we arrived and taken to a booth as requested. The restaurant was extremely clean. The server was very pleasant. Food was nicely presented and hot. My husband really enjoyed the multigrain bread. We were extremely pleased with service and food. Whoever is managing this place is really doing a good job. The only problem we had was picking our breakfast. Almost all the breakfast picks are huge! Will be returning.
