Dined here in the summer of 2022. Worth it just for the unique dining experience of watching the trains go over the water.

Great stop on the river for a bit and drink in afternoon. It's situated on the river just past the power plant. Quaint Beach life style place. Food was fair, the crab cake was a bit fishy aftertaste and chicken fingers were

The shrimp poboy was really good. But the bread was a little thick so it made it hard to eat because it was rather crunchy too.. But it still gets five stars cuz it was absolutely delicious, My son raved about the breading and I have to concur the breading on the shrimp was excellent.. I want another time and had the peanut Thai salad I had to have them put the edamame on the side because I'm allergic to it but that was really good salad, my daughter had the cranberry salad and that was delicious and both my kids got margaritas which were really good..I also love that they provide water dishes and water for your four-legged friends.. Saw a lot of well-behaved dogs.

Our waitress took the absolute best care of us. She was wonderful with our 4 year old son's questions about the train bridge! Get the red cream pepsi- that was amazing, and I have never seen that offered anywhere else. The Cajun Whitefish sandwich was so good! It has a great atmosphere. I knew nothing about Michigan City before we stopped there to eat, and we ended up staying an extra hour to check out the beach and stretch our legs before finishing a drive to Milwaukee. We will be back next year when it opens for the season and we do this drive again!Kid-friendliness: Very friendly for kids.

Best overall restaurant we’ve been to on this trip.Atmosphere was great, food was incredible, and the drinks were even better.I’ve never been to a restaurant where the drink prices aren’t listed, and been happy when I got my bill. I was expecting each drink to be 10-15$. They were 6 and 7 each. Not to mention how good they wereMy only negative would be having to ask out waiter 3 times to get some waters. But other than that, this place is a must go for sure!

Everything was fantastic! I had the Italian Beef hoagie, and it was AMAZING! Seems as if they locally source as much of their menu as they can, and none of it disappointed. We would huffy recommend, and we will be back next year when we make our trip north to Lake Michigan.

Excellent friendly service. Fries were very tasty. Excellent pie. We loved sitting outside on a nice night and could tell they have a lot of pride in their establishment. We left very happy and full!Kid-friendliness: It’s nice to bring a toddler to a place where he can run around without feeling like we’re disturbing other diners. He loved watching the ducks from up on the deck.

Salmon patty was pretty generic. Husband was less than impressed. Tia wrap was filled with soggy lettuce. My shrimp was delicious though. Guess it just depends on what you order.

Enjoyed our food and the view! Wraps and fish sandwich at our favorites! They have excellent margaritas and don’t forget the peanut butter pie! Yummy

Dog friendly! They have little water dishes ready for your furry friends. Good food and great atmosphere. We were lucky enough to see a train come through.

This is a nicely situated resturant on the river that really gives a very nice atmosphere. Dining outside on a nice summer day was really great. As nice as the overall experience was, the food does detract from that. Portions are quite small and overpriced for a meal where you're getting plastic silverware. Wasn't all that delicious either. Drinks were reasonable.I'd definitely go again for the drinks and to hang out, but I wouldn't want to eat here again.

We were in from out of town and met some friends here for dinner. This is one of those little gems that you might accidentally drive by if you’re not paying attention to the signs. We sat out on the back porch overlooking the water, bridge, factory, etc. and it was a beautiful view. We all really enjoyed our food, the waitress was incredibly nice, and it was an overall great experience!

We were welcomed and was seated promptly. Our server was pleasant. However, we never got the calamari we ordered and had to take it off of our bill. I ordered the Maryland Crab cakes and sweet potato fries. The fries and the crab cakes were over cooked. No, I didn't return them, but I will not be eating here again.
