I can't imagine eating a meal here and not being full! We got the beef patty, curry chicken (pictured), and stew chicken. Kids devoured the rice and beans like there was no tomorrow. The sauces are very flavorful, and the candied yams are VERY sweet. Service makes you feel right at home. I really enjoyed the cabbage that I got with the jerk chicken and jerk rib tips. I see a lot of people raving about the beef patties and crab patties but I can’t say I cared for them. I was expecting something resembling an empanada however these were wrapped in a rather thick flaky crust. It was good but just not to my taste. Everything else was amazing. Definitely will be going back to try some of the other dishes. Also our waitress was very helpful

BEWARE they add a 20% service fee to your bill. It makes me mad because even though I am typically a good tipper, I still like to choose at the end of my meal depending on the type of service that I get. Usually this happens at restaurants where the prices are higher which this restaurant does have however I did not see it advertised anywhere of this practice. On a positive note, food was good. Loved the spices and I couldn't get enough of the sauces. Great portions. It did seem like they were short staffed.

What a true gem of a place! We've been here about 5 times so far. The food is phenomenal! We love sitting out in the patio area in the summer. I love the fried plantains. The service can lack at times but it's worth the wait for the food.

My husband and I like to try little "hole in the wall" places. Cool Runnings is at the top of our list now and we will definitely go back to this place! Friendly waitress and delicious food! I imagine this food is as close to authentic Jamaican as Indiana can get! Hats off to the cooks here!

We had a friend visiting from out of town and came here for dinner. The downside was we had to wait a while for a table, and the food was slow to come out. It was also a little expensive. However, there was a large meal presented and everything was very delicious! I am usually not a big meat eater but couldn't resist trying oxtail. It was very soft and tender, with a lot of flavor, and very filling. My husband was very excited about his Mac and cheese but didn't think the pineapple bowl added much. Our friend ordered the chicken and said it was delicious, well cooked and flavorful. We would come again but might order for carryaway next time.
