This is the worst DD location in existence. We stopped there for iced coffee and 2 items we asked for that were on the menu were discontinued. We picked something else which was okay. The problem is the woman who took our order and was being rude because I guess we should know what’s available and what isn’t. We weren’t rude that they had things on the menu that weren’t available, we found something else to order. After we asked for the second item, the lady said “Oh my God”. This person is clearly disgruntled and should not be taking orders or even dealing with people. It wasn’t our fault your menu isn’t right. How are we to know if it’s still advertised. This location has been awful for years and nothing will ever make it better. I’ve seen employees scream at each other, lock one of my employees in their store because they were fighting and scream at customers. The location on Michigan Boulevard is always top notch. It may be out of the way but if you want friendly service and your order made correctly it’s worth the drive to go to that location instead of this one.

Every single person at this location are AMAZING! Never had a bad experience there at all, it’s always good vibes. They're so kind, friendly, and welcoming even though I mainly only do drive thru. If I knew everyone’s name I would give them all a shoutout. You are all the best! Thanks so much for always making my day!

I’m sorry to say this!But if you can’t even pretend to like people or maybe your Job. Then maybe working behind a counter where you deal with people every day all day. Is not the Job for you!The Customer service from this one individual was just unattractive. I’m a truck driver I look forward to be able to stop at a D&D Every now & then while I’m working, & getting myself a decent cup of coffee. Instead of my everyday “Truck Stop Coffee”!But I would rather take that Truck stop Coffee any day over a employee with a attitude towards the Customer (for not Customer did)I’m not one of them “ Customer is always right” kinda person,But I also don’t wanna have an attitude given towards me when I’m spending my money at your place.So my opinion, stay away from this D&D unless you want to leave in a bad mood!It really is SAD, that today’s day and age There’s no such thing as customer service anymore! So I’ll take my truckstop coffee cause I’ll leave there the same way I walked in happy

Hands down the worst location. My order was made incorrectly, which I normally wouldn’t complain about but it wasn’t even close to what I originally ordered. So I asked if they could just remake the 2 iced coffees. The associate said sorry that’s what the app said and after showing him my receipt showing that it was incorrect, he called his manager over who just stared at me blankly when I requested the drinks to be remade.The manager continued to stare….silently… and the associate just yelled at me and told me to go through the app because he couldn’t remake it. I left without my drinks and have yet to receive a refund after reaching out to Customer Service.Complete lack of not only customer service… but just human decency.

I had a very bad experience at this particular DD in Michigan City, IN..I purchased $12.33 worth of food, in which one item was a hot coffee.I then asked about the free donut? that was advertised as you get a free one with the purchase of the coffee. The employee at the window got mad and rude because I asked about it.Short story, I just asked for my money back only to be told by the rude Hindu Indian woman owner/manager that I am not welcome there anymore, just because I asked for a refund.They didn't honor their own free item advertisement!Well, I definitely will not spend my money with rude and disrespectful people!!!They get no STARS from me!!!*Had to put one to post my review.

Pulled up to order not realizing that there was altered hours for New Year's Day...employees had just pulled up, apologized and rushed in to make our 2 coffees. Service was great and we really appreciated them accommodating us even though it was 50 minutes until opening and our fault. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Im not one to leave a bad review. I feel as though I need to. I ordered a peppermint mocha (tis the season)and bacon snacks. The bacon snacks were old and cold. I went back to the window because the lobby is never open and let the person know that they were old and cold. All they did was put the old and cold ones into the air-fryer and heated them up. They refused to make me fresh bacon snacks. Once I got back to my truck then I tried my peppermint mocha. There was no peppermint. It was a bad tasting mocha. I left there very unhappy with the food and service. I will not be returning to the Michigan City location

This is a terrific DD. The staff is always friendly and focused on getting your order right. I really like the updated breakfast menu - several offerings are super tasty - especially the brown sugar maple bacon sandwich. This store invested in upgrades over the summer - I am always blown away when I walk in - so light and "fun" - plus, this store has the nitro taps!Only downside is not the store's fault - patrons can enter off 41 or from the east (Walmart parking lot), and the "easters" feel that they should be able to merge in front of patrons who've been in the drive-thru queue. Yep petty, but it can get "testy". Anyway - this is great store to start your day or refresh your afternoon/evening.

Ordered coffee with oatmilk, was given coffee with whole milk. When I asked for a correction the cashier argued with me as if I was just out of luck. Bad service do not recommend. Not to mention the request for oatmilk was due to a severe milk allergy.
