One of the last carhops around! 4 stars, as the food is nowhere near as good as it once was, sadly. But still a great place for a semi-decent meal combined with some of the best ice cream around (and if I was rating it just on ice cream, id rate it a 5).

Great great great! Adam has done a fabulous job keeping this place going and being as close to the old time atmosphere and flavor as possible. I never have a bad experience here.
Walked in around 1pm and got seated with a party of 5 people. The waitress was friendly. Got our milk shakes in a timely manner and food came out hot. We got cheeseburgers and chicken stripes. Also got cheese fries and cheese/bacon fries. Food was good and we were full when left. They aren't open year round so get there before end of season on October 30th I believe it is.

We rolled in as a group of about 20, without warning, and were warmly welcomed by both staff and by other diners. The food was good, diner food, but I write because of the excellent service from both Leah and another staff person of unknown name. Neither of them were flustered, but handled each of our orders as though each of us was the only diner there. This visit definitely warrants a return.
