Our server, Kristen, was amazing. She went above and beyond, was hilarious and very kind. She met all of our needs before we even knew we needed them. The food was also delicious as always. I just came back from California, and the first thing I wanted was a Mudslide, which was amazing as always.

I stopped in the other day to grab a large salsa to go. It was 6.99 and a bargain for the size. And if you are a fan, you know it's worth the drive just to pick some up. The girls at the takeout window were friendly and helpful.

This was the worst experience I have had at any Hacienda, and normally, things are great. They were busy, but the service was extremely slow. My food came out before my drink, and it wasn't prepared properly. My tortilla was sitting in a pool of butter and not toasted at all. I had to eat my quesadilla with a fork because it fell apart if you tried to pick it up.

I have only sent food back three times in my life. Sadly, two of these times have now been at Hacienda.I went in tonight and ordered a small white cheese sauce and the Quesabirria tacos. The small cheese sauce I ordered came out as the large order, had refried beans at the bottom, and was room temp-leaning towards cold. The meal was.. horrible. Quesabirria Is supposed to be crispy, these tortillas were rubbery. Again the food was room temp. The meat was pretty gross, but the real kicker was the Birria sauce that it was served with. It hovered somewhere between “chef-boy-R-D” slop and canned dog food. The service there is always anxiety-inducing, and the overall vibes are pretty rancid. If you sit in the bar area they all shout about how much they don’t want to be there, and are pretty abrupt with you no matter how nice and quiet you are. If you sit in the main dining area you subject yourself to screaming children that are always, always there eating with their families.Overall, it’s a no from me dawg. Especially when there are so many other great Mexican options in the area.

Unfortunately their restrooms had flooded and it was a very busy Saturday afternoon. It took well over an hour to get our food and one meal was cold. Not typical for this restaurant so I will go back.

The employees do NOT want to be there. Our waitress actually got mad because we were coming to ask for refills and SLAMMED them on the table. After an hour, still no food but she kept bringing us drinks. We had 18 full pop's on the table and she was doing it to be smart. She was literally tossing salsa on our table. We never did get our food and got up and left. She was never apologetic even though we are NOT hard to please and simply asked for a refill. She was extremely rude. The manager offered us free dessert but we explained we weren't expecting any freebies. We just wanted our food and to not have drinks thrown at us. It was the worst experience I've ever had dining out ANYWHERE in my entire life. I honestly felt like we were on a TV show.

Overall, this place is great! Super clean, super good food, very friendly staff on the restaurant side. The bar side staff is not nearly as friendly as the restaurant side staff though, so id recommend not sitting in the bar area. But the food is wonderful and affordable, and always very fresh and well made.Vegetarian options: Almost all of the items can be changed to be vegetarian by asking for beans on the items instead of meat!

4 of us went to hacienda in Mishawaka Indiana Saturday night around 8pm it took them 45 minutes for them to ask us what we wanted we got our drinks and Chips right as soon as we sat down but it took them forever to make our food instead of eating there we asked for boxes paid and left. Service was extremely bad the employees were rude. They all acted like they didn't want to be at work and that we were a bother for even coming in and wanting food. I would understand if they were busy but there was barely any body in there. There was a lot of tables empty. I will never be going back

Getting old, decorations were non-uniform looked like they went shopping at a party store. Food portions getting smaller, table was sticky. Server was the only saving grace.
