My mom's favorite place, so she took us while we were in town. I got the shrimp fajitas and they were amazing; everything my family got was tasty too. Very nice staff, cute atmosphere, I highly recommend!

Today was the second time I’ve ate here, the steak tacos and beans are the best! Their chips and salsa is by far my favorite in town. Service was great and I love the Mexican decor.

I actually used to like this place come to this place at least three times a week but today customer service was horrible even the manager was horrible when my food was brought out it was so cold so I just asked can I have different food that's warm so I asked could they remake it they brought my food out and they heat it up in the microwave if I wanted to be heated up in the microwave I wouldn't have sat down and wanted to eat it there the manager was very rude and disrespectful so I just left so would I recommend this place to anyone NO . IF YOU HAVING A BAD DAY I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD TAKE IT OUT ON YOUR CUSTOMERS AND THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I FEEL ABOUT ANY RESTAURANT OR ANY PLACE.

On February 8, we ordered 3 glass bottle soft drinks and the young man who works there and is normally at the cashier, served us 3 soft drinks with glass bottles already used and refilled from the machine, he gave us the opened soft drinks, then he took us the bill when we hadn't even finished eating, (we had previously gone and everything, both the food and the drinks and the service, was fine but the lady served us and not him)
I ordered steak burritos ? I told her I need only steak and onion cilantro ? in my burritos ? and extra steak and adde shrimp ? she’s charged me $4 extra meat & $6 dollar ?. For shrimp I literally count the shrimp only 4 shrimp in my burrito ? the guys have expensive . Bad taste not a good experience .

You’ve gotta try this place! Food and service are both top notch with VERY reasonable prices! First time I was here I tried ordering a seltzer to drink which they didn’t carry. Owner came out a few minutes later, asked what kind as he had had other customers ask about them. I told him a couple of varieties but not to worry about it as we didn’t come often. Well we went exactly 1 week later because we were craving it and there were seltzers in the cooler when we walked in! The owner is also the chef, and he comes out and checks on the table after everyone gets their food to make sure everything is right and see if anyone needs anything! Y’all this kind of service and hospitality is UNHEARD of this day and age. The food is quality! I highly recommend the super grande burrito topped with queso *chef’s kiss*. This fam is doing the damn thing right!

The food was pretty decent. The gumball machine stole my daughters quarter and no one would replace it. I even tipped around 30% and no one would give my 6 year old a quarter after their gumball machine ate her money and did not give her a gumball. Terrible thing to do in my eyes. My business will be limited to none thanks to that.

My friend and I came to Tampico’s on a whim one Friday afternoon. Upon first glance we were unsure because of the hole in the wall look of the building. Once we entered the restaurant we were pleasantly surprised by the charming atmosphere and authentic look. The server was fast, kind, and our food came faster than the speed of light. Would highly recommend.
