Our family love to eat in this place for dinner or gathering! Best Korean restaurant in town with friendly service! They also serve a variety of sushi/sashimi by plate or boat.

*update: this was our second visit and we came for lunch. The food was just as amazing as our first time. Got my son’s favorite dish Galbi (Korean short ribs) and I got a chirashi bowl (assortment of slice fish over rice). It was so good and I will be definitely be back to try other entrees. This was our first meal in Mishawaka, IN. And it was not a mistake. This will definitely be the place for our family for authentic Korean food and sushi.Parking: was ample and freeService: the owners was amazing, patient, kind and sweet.

Just passing through but couldn't resist getting Korean food. The sushi was excellent and so was the bulgoi. Only problem is it was a bit slow.

This is the first time and also the last time we went here. The waiter was really rude to my baby( only 2 years old). 1st time went here so I don’t know much about the food. I ask him several questions and he got frustrated. The worst service I’ve ever had.

Traveling through and wanted something other than commercial options. It was great to support a family and small business BUT it is hard to recommend this place based on our experience. Good was good but nothing special. Service was VERY slow. it felt like they needed at least 1 if not 2 more people serving guests. Lastly, it was very expensive for what it was.it was the same price as going to a nice hibachi place but you got none of that great experience...

I am not sure if we went during a weird time, but we had to wait a long time for our food. We spent about 2 hours total here and at least 1 hour was waiting on food. I did notice there seemed to only be one waitress and it was about 80% full. I think the portions were abundant for the price and it was very delicious. We do plan to go back, and hopefully we do not wait as long.Edit: So we went back. It looks like 1 server is the usual for this place. HOWEVER, I think this is because 1 server is enough to keep up with how quickly the food comes out. This place is definitely more for a family meal type of experience and not eat and leave sort of deal. My family and I love the food and the sushi is amazing. The servers are nice. I just think everyone should be aware that it's not the fastest place. But, because of that, it works as a great date night dinner!

The meat was stringy. There was barely a hint of vegetables in the stir fry. Salmon on roll was low

Never have I been so happy eating a meal! I just moved back after living in Korea for 10 years and have missed the food so much. This restaurant is owned by a Korean family and the sushi and sashimi here are high quality and super fresh, comparable to the quality I can find in coastal Korea. How can the fish be this fresh in Indiana!? Definitely hit the spot and I think I can live here again as long as this place exists ? can't wait to try their Korean dishes too.I read in some of the comments that people thought the servers are rude and abrupt. Please remember that this is an immigrant family from Korea whose native tongue is not English. Their service is professional and polite and totally what you would encounter in Korea. Don't expect them to chat you up and treat you like American servers would. Please be respectful and open minded and enjoy their amazing food and culture. I wish the owners the best of success! And see you again soon ??

I stopped in for dinner and it was a very uncomfortable experience. The place was mostly empty and only had a couple of tables with guests. The person who waited on us was cold and abrupt like we were bothering him by being there. The menus were in disrepair and had new prices glued over old prices. The hot tea I ordered was served in a cracked tea cup with old lipstick on it. The food came out fairly quickly but the sushi was not very good so I didn’t even finish it. Overall a disappointing experience and I wouldn’t ever go back.

First greeting at 1pm was : we close at 1:30!Very expensive for average maki rolls. No soup or salad included. Will not return or recommend.

Reasonable price. I always go for their shrimp tempura. Love the miso soup that comes with it.

South Bend has a lack of good sushi but this is the best. The indoor space is nothing special but the quality of the fish and detail in the rolls is quite good. Prices are fair as well for what you get.

Tofu appetizer was amazing. Sushi boat had great variety and was enjoyed by 7 people. Salad and miso was included.

This is hands down the best sushi in the area. Fish is great quality and the rice is perfect. I used to be a sushi chef and I can tell you that these guys know what they're doing. I can't recommend this enough!

Got a Yellowtail roll and the Bi Bim Bob. Both were out of this world. Definitely recommended.
