“I love ordering steak tacos from this place. Lovely people and best taste in Mishawaka and South bend. Food is very flavorful and not dull in the slightest. You have to get rice and beans too they are to die for. I ordered guac and queso for the first time and was not disappointed. I added it to the tacos for more of a kick and was in heaven. It tastes like a home cooked meal and you feel great after. I ordered takeout and everything was perfect. Hats off to the chef and staff ?P.S. The guac was very fresh and tasty, needed nothing more to it. I have had so many bad guacamole from other places this was the icing on the cake ?“

“My husband went to pick up our order and was talking with the (I’m assuming) owner while waiting for our food to be ready. After finding out we just had a baby earlier this week we were given our meal for free! Not only was the food delicious, but the customer service is excellent. We’ve ordered from the Granger location twice in two weeks and will definitely be back!“

“Wanted to try something new, Zing was a random pick and we couldn't have been happier. Food was delicious, staff was super friendly and helpful. Best Ramen broth I have had outside of more famous bigger city spots. Tried multiple entree's and app's along with a sushi roll, all were spectacular.“

“This is a cozy, hometown pizzeria with great food and a great atmosphere! We had the supreme pizza which was smothered in a red sauce with a flavor all of its own! It was topped with the stringiest mozzarella cheese and a generous potion of vegetables and a flavorful sausage. It was not chaotic with loud music playing. It was a very pleasant place to be able to sit and have a meaningful conversation without having to raise your voice in order to be heard. The tiramisu was delectably creamy and fluffy! Our waitress, kind as she was, could have checked on us a little more frequently. That is why service only got a 4 star. I will go here again and I highly recommend!“

“My review goes beyond the welcoming and homey atmosphere, the wonderful staff, and the simply delicious authentic food ( perfectly prepared from scratch I might add). I took my Dolset bowls in with me hoping perhaps I might get some as to seasoning my bowls, ( I had done it incorrectly ). Not only did the owner literally take my bowls and season them for me, she also taught me how to best cook in them, and if all that kindness wasn't enough she gave me a lid as my bowls did not come with any.Ever time we go we learn more about etiquette customs and Korean food.The owner is always sweet enough to smile and correct me nicely when I use a Korean phrase incorrectly. They also have Korean BBQ tables which makes for a great evening out cooking and laughing with friends. I hope you try this restaurant, yummy food and wonderful people. Michele F“

“I was driving in from out of state and since my husband has reminisced about Kmart subs for YEARS, I thought I would stop by Scoobies to pick some up to bring home to him. Unfortunately I was only in town for the weekend, and even though they are closed on Saturdays, the owner so graciously offered to COME IN and make subs for me!! I couldn't believe it! Incredible customer service and my husband said the Kmart subs were DELICIOUS and SPOT ON. Thank you for going the extra mile to help me bring back a memory for him. WE APPRECIATE YOU!!“

Even when the place is packed you dont wait long for your food. Try the friend ravioli, its amazing!! The perfect appetizer!!!“

The service was prompt and friendly, with nice recommendations toward the menu. The food was great! I had AYCE fish (hake) and it was delicious! “I happened upon this wonderful restaurant as I was leaving town. The parking lot seemed full for 1pm in the afternoon on a Friday. My initial thought was that this place has to be good. Wow! Was that thought understated! I chose the Meatballs Al Forno as an appetizer. Note: The small order has 6 small meatballs and the large order has 12. Each one of them were bursting with flavor! Each time cut into one, I would make sure to get a little bit of the cheese, some sauce and a corner of the accompanying toasted garlic bread. Every time, it was the perfect bite. Then came the entree. I chose the Salmon Limone, a grilled fillet of salmon on a bed of shrimp ravioli with Roma tomatoes in a wine and lemon dill butter sauce. The shrimp ravioli melted in my mouth. The fish was wonderfully prepared! It was tender, moist, and seasoned to perfection! The service was impeccable! Lauren, the bartender, was pleasant, professional, personable, and attentive. It was easy to recognize that she enjoys her profession. Thank you to all of the people at Papa Vino’s for making your magic happen.“

“Fantastic pizza to get if you look forward to mom-and-pop pizzerias. For my son's hockey tournaments, we travel quite a bit. I always look forward to ordering from a local pizzeria. It was so good I ordered from here twice. Keep in mind this isn't gourmet pizza garabge, this is pizza and it hits the spot. I'd recommend. It's not too often that I will hit a pizzeria twice in one trip. I can't say much about the atmosphere since I ordered delivery only. I saw quite a few 1 star reviews and I question whether I got lucky twice, or maybe those individuals were looking for some gourmet Buffalo chicken or some sort of Roma tomato slices with fresh mozzarella yeast-ball pizza (yuck).“

We always loved the food at Monterey so we thought we would eat there after we voted.Food was great as usual, but service was lackluster. Server was friendly and initially seemed right on it. He took and brought our drink order promptly, then took our food order. He never came back around to check on us. We were sitting there with half a basket of chips, but no salsa left. Food was brought out by someone else who asked if we needed more salsa. We told him, yes please. He said he would tell our server. Then several minutes later the same person who bought food asked didn't you get salsa yet? Finally someone brought us more salsa. I don't think we saw our server again until we were ready to leave. He must have been distracted, maybe because the local radio station was broadcasting upstairs.We will be back, because the food is so good. But it won't be on our regular dining out rotation.“

The food was good however every other location I have been to has always started you off with chips and salsa and this location I had to ask if it was even still served then the bartender acted like I was dumb for asking. I will drive to the next nearest location when in the area and craving Chili's.Parking: There is plenty of parking due to the lack of patrons visiting this establishment.“

“Went to Bar Louie for the first time since its been at this location. Always kind of forgot since there are so many options. I was missing out! We started off with the chicken nachos plenty for 4 people to share! They were some of the best nachos I've had in this area for a long time. Loaded with toppings, the queso and the sauce they put on is delightful and they don't skimp. I actually ended up enjoying them so much I couldn't even eat my chicken sandwich I ordered and had to take it for carry out. The chicken sandwich was also absolutely delightful even the next day which is hard to come by. The food presentation LOOKED delicious like a picture from the menu. Service was good and we never had to wait long for anything. Nachos came out quickly and entree was spaced with enough time to enjoy those first. Kudos to Bar Louie for great food AND service which since covid seems like its impossible to find anymore. Forgot pics this time but will definitely include next time.Prices are a little pricier but it's worth every penny.“
