My grandson and I decided to try Flat Top Grill for lunch during a shopping excursion. Neither of us had been here before, and by the time we left, we had figured out how it works. If we had loaded up our bowls like others we watched did, there's no way we could have eaten that much food, but we could have taken the leftovers home for another meal. Went here with a couple of friends. We were not acknowledged by the staff for a couple of minutes even though 3 employees were standing at the hostess stand. The employees seemed to stand around and chat amongst themselves the whole time we were there. Our waitress was friendly and helpful though. I haven't had anything like this since doing a Mongolian BBQ in California. This was an exciting option, to be able to eat what you like and limit the amount or indulge. I was also impressed with the fact that they said that they could accommodate persons with allergies. I felt that since it was my first time trying Flat Top that I would pay extra for the shrimp. I also was grateful to be able to sample the sauces to make a good decision on how much heat I wanted in the bowl....read full review
