We were recently here to celebrate our anniversary . We were large group. They basically catered catfish and Philly stake rolls. Excellent. Highly recommend.

Our experience was not good. Our food was undercooked. One meal came out when EVERYONE was time finished and only offered a discount not enough. We all suffered from the old grease. WE all decided that that would be our LAST time we eat there. We came from Bremen Indiana heard it was a good place to eat .I was very disappointed.

We had an amazing time at this restaurant. My husband and I reserved a table for a party of 20 and I couldn't have asked for better service. The workers made it easy to make a reservation when we called in advance and offered us indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant was super clean and I loved the outdoor seating area. The catfish and sweet potato fries were absolutely AMAZING!! We hope to visit again soon.

Food is delicious. We went when a band was playing. So much fun. Got a pitcher of margaritas, fried fish, and shrimp tacos. Was really good. The water running in the dam was a great sound.
Oakdale is a great place to play music and have a good time with good people. The outside stage is wonderful when it’s not raining, and inside is cozy, we look forward to going back to the Oakdale anytime. Not to mention, Mr Pibb on tap. ?

Not worth the effort to go. Ordered the Italian beef and dam burger. The Italian beef was so salty. The fries, which are an additional cost and the chips were so over cooked that rocks would have been more eatable. The waitress tried to make one order better and still forgot to add the chips for one sandwich. It may just who was doing the cooking when we went, but I do not recommend going at this time.

There's nothing special about this place. Just a local spot with decent service. On a recent visit I tried the calamari which was surprisingly good. And the breaded pork tenderloin which was crispy and juicy with great flavor. Cocktails, however, very rudimentary and not great.
