I ordered an iced latte and it was only syrup and milk. They did not use espresso, but Monin coffee from a bottle. It was disgusting and I had to throw away after 2 sips. It's crazy that a coffee place doesn't use actual coffee to make drinks. Would not recommend.

we came after visiting Anderson orchard, and didn't realize they were closed. But the owners graciously welcomed us in and fed us delicious sandwiches off the menu. We felt like we were eating in their kitchen and a part of the family. The food was great and the service was even better and we would recommend this to anyone!

Good coffee, everything there is made fresh in their kitchen, relaxed atmosphere, and very clean. Sometimes they can get backed up though, especially when a group of people all come in at the same time with everyone ordering complicated drinks.

FOOD: Been here several times before posting a review. They have a variety of coffee & teas. More coffee variety than tea (I started bringing my own tea so I could have what I like). I have also had a muffin. Everything seemed good. Not exceptional, just good (or what you'd expect).SERVICE: Everything is a counter service. Stand at the counter and place your order. You pick up your order at the counter, too. Even on the weekend, they have busy swells that back up the line for a while - even just to get a "hot water" refill for my tea. They would benefit from additional service but understand that with the economy the way it is, this may be difficult. I still plan on coming. It would just be nice to have a "swing shift" person for busy times.ATMOSPHERE: This is what I love. There is a large room with several small gathering areas. I am part of a group of ladies that meet here regularly. It's nice to sit at a "dining room table" and chat for a couple hours eating muffins and drinking a warm beverage. The cute part about this place is that they have many different coffee mugs that they serve their warm drinks in. It's so cute! It's like being at a friend's house and using one of their extra mugs. The building is not new but kept up pretty well. Everything from mugs to furniture is eclectic but fits with the design of the place. I love having this little place downtown Mooresville!

This rich brew has a wonderful, smooth taste, and is perfect with their fresh baked Bread Pudding. One taste and that was all it took to get us hooked this soft and yummy muffin. I enjoyed it so much that I was able to request it for our next visit.What we enjoy most about the Bran and Shorts Coffee House is their hometown spirit. This business represents the heart of every small town; they greet you like your neighbors, not strangers.

On my way from Indianapolis to visit my sister. stopped here and glad I did. Absolutely delicious mini quiche on a biscuit and coffee. Nice environment and friendly employees.I spend every morning in a coffee shop as I have an Internet business and the price was half of what they are in Indianapolis. Might have to venture down here now and then!
