If I could do half stars I would… I LOVE Steak ‘n Shake I use to get a chili mac every other day unfortunately I moved 9 hrs away where there are no steak n shakes so when I came in town I wanted to go to Steak ‘n Shake with my parents super excited to get my chilli mac and when I did I was sooooo upset I literally have made them at my apartment bc I crave them and have made them better. The food was barely warm and EXTREMELY greasy when I pointed out to a manager I was told I WAS WRONG!?!? I am an ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER for Taco Bell I know how fast food works. Extremely disappointed…. I literally told them I would TAKE NAPKINS AND DAB THE GREASE OUT… teribble

Steak 'N Shake isn't quite what it used to be and the burgers and chili taste different but the people were nice and we got all of our food when we ordered. Seems much cleaner than before it shut down for a spell and I like the self service inside rather than wait staff.

I'm not a fan of the self-service kiosks. Seems like the food quality has gone down. Some items, like shakes, are diminished. It's too bad because Steak n Shake used to be my favorite burger place since childhood. ?

If I could give ZERO stars I would.The dining room is always closed -I said to hell with this and drove a few miles north to Culver’s- where I was able to sit down and dine in comfort- the food is better too. It was well worth the extra drive.

While I do miss the old ways of steak and shake, the food is still pretty decent. The kiosks and pickup area take away customers to food service interaction. The store is clean. I would eat here again.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicapped parking and ramps for the sidewalk to the entrance.
Food was awesome but listened to the kitchen argue and complain my entire meal. Had my child with me as well.

This place is Groundhog Day the movie with Bill Murray.I'm going to make an edit, 5 years later and I still have no idea how it's not out-of business, hardly any staff, dining room is always closed since there's no staff.... I still rarely ever come here but I can think of one time lately where I thought to myself it might come around.
