Went for lunch, had the soup and salad, and the soup was terrific. the warm bread came before the lunch and it was terrific also. . My husband had the salmon with artichokes and it was outstanding. The price was reasonable, the service great. We will be back.

The food was quite good on Family Night (Monday). The ambience was OK (put aside that five of us were seated at a table for four when there seemed to be several suitable tables available). The service was TERRIBLE. We got two small pieces of bread for the five of us with a promise of more to come (and it finally DID come. They were out of the beer I ordered from the menu. 'All you want salad' was one bowl (with no offer for more). Two family dinners were very slow to arrive. We put salad bowls on a nearby table to make room for the food (i.e. small table, limited bussing). For after dinner take home we were given two small containers fit for a hamburger for what was left from two family size platters. Our waitress busied herself sweeping the floor nearby while we ate (ugh!) and had to be brought out from back room chores so we could pay our tab. The food WAS good but I suspect we won't return.

I usually have the Italian nachos and Chicken Alfredo. It has been excellent, as usual. I have had Derick as a server twice now, and in the future, I would request him if he is available.Wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant.

I love Johnny Carino's! They are a bit expensive BUT they have good food. And if you don't eat here much because it's expensive then it's a real treat when you get to. I'd choose this place everyday if I could over most restaurants in Muncie

For starters, our server, Derick, was amazing! He’s one of the best servers I have ever had. We have had him as our server before and loved him each time. To demonstrate his excellence, he wrote on our to-go boxes the date and what was in each one. That is a first for me.The food is delicious and the atmosphere is amazing. I recommend the bow tie festival with chicken and the Italian nachos.

First off, I will say the food was quite good, hence the 3 stars. However they lose a couple because even though it was not busy (late evening on a Monday), food took a very long time to arrive. Didn't help that the server was a bit on the slow side. From drink order to arrival of said drinks was a good 10 minutes. He than disappeared again and had to wait another 5-10 minutes just to put in our food order. Then at least 30 minutes before food arrived. Also, the place good use a good cleaning. Our table had a sticky residue on it (not food, maybe not fully wiped down from when they sprayed it after last guests used it?). And the divider between the booths was absolutely filthy, especially down by the end where it meets the drink station.

My girlfriend ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the sauce was so soupy it wouldn't stick to the noodles, but they did compensate us for that.Found out at lunch you get no salads with meals and the meals are only a dollar or two cheaper than dinner and you only get a half loaf of bread.The server was very nice, but will not go back there to eat very disappointed for the price you pay.

We ate at Johnny Carino's in Muncie on June 23rd, 2023. Our waitress took our order and took it wrong. My mother ordered a margarita- never received it. They didn't charge us for it but she still ordered it. TheWaitress was nice but very forgetful. There's only three of us at the table. Two of them got their food, And I waited an extra 10 minutes to get my food after they were already halfway done eating. We were without any refills for about 15 minutes. The waitress came around four different but didn't offer us anything to drink. So we finally asked for refills. The waitress did not even ask us if we wanted any to go boxes or anything. I don't believe we will be back.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary, we had the slowest service due to short staff. They only had two server's Sundays night. I had the shrimp carbanora tasted like noodles in water. The server brought some sauce on the side that then tasted like buttered flour sauce, which was very unappealing. For $22 for this dish that I didn't eat only but the shrimp, she didn't offer a refund just said, "Did I want a to go box" which I declined.?. However, my husband enjoyed his dish chicken Parmesan rigatoni. There was no offer of anything special for a dessert for our anniversary. Next time, I will use the $57 of the one drink and two dinners and go somewhere else. Later that night eating there I had stomach issues and had to use the restrooms non-stop until 4 am until imodiam kicked in. The nurse thinks maybe I had bad shrimp.I called up the next following day and asked for a refund for my dish and asked if anyone reported being sick they she said no. Not sure what would of made me become so violently ill after eating there. Definitely will not be going back.

Food was good (pasta just a tad under done for me) service was exceptional. Floors were sticky and the bathroom was a mess. We did go on a Friday night and had to wait to be seated (not excessively long) so I'm sure they had been busy and continued to be that way because they had people waiting to be seated when we left too so that's probably why. All in all a good experience.
It's becoming too expensive for us to dine there. I recently ordered their barbecue bacon burger. They didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, and I didn't think to mention it. So the middle of the burger was almost raw. Other than that, it was a good meal, just expensive.

This has been the best food I think I ever had! The service was great. The place was very clean. It was a little more expensive than I thought it was going to be, if I find some coupons anywhere I will def go again!!The nachos for the appetizer were amazing ? and the fried ravioli were good but as soon as I dipped it in the sauce I fell love. The only bad thing about the ravioli was that it was super greasy and not fried quite long enough. The salad had the perfect amount of everything and the ranch dressing was perfect too! The cheese ravioli came out very hot. We both did ask for tomato sauce and they both had meat it in. Now the meatballs I could taste the sausage and I don't eat sausage but these were mouth watering! Now the best part.. the cheesecake OMFG never ever had one so good! It was the turtle cheesecake.I recommend EVERYTHING I had.

Service was very good, our server was friendly knowledgeable & available just enough that if we needed something we didn't have to wait long but not around so much as to feel like she was hanging over us constantly. The baked lasagna was very very good. Prices were fair, not the cheapest but good quality and quantity for the price.
