This place is a hidden gem and has probably some of the best West African cuisine I have ever taken part in. It is a small, cozy dining area with all kinds of African flair and decore. The owner/chef has a one of a kind and truly authentic menu straight from her home country. The flavors were unbelievably blended and pop on your taste buds. I have never experienced such flavor and tastes. You will not be disappointed if you give this place a try. Not much of a wait and even if there was a wait time, it will be worth every minute waiting. Larges proportions are easily sharable with some fufu to dip and experience those bold, exciting flavors. My only regret is we did not take photos! Will update next time we get a chance to go again.I took some South African friends and they were amazed at how authentic and wonderful everything was. This is a must place to eat!

Very tast food, good service and clean restaurant. Joloff rice was amazing. Eggplant stew was tasty. Sweet potato circles were different but good. If you like hot, buy their pepper sauce....?

I had the vegan meatball stew and my wife had the sweet potato greens with chicken. If vegan wasn't in the name I wouldn't have known. My wife was thrilled to get to try fufu, and I honestly can't remember if I've ever had better food. Having never had West African food I was honestly dumbfounded by how good it was. We will be back, and if you're reading this you should definitely eat here.Vegetarian options: Most of their dishes can be vegan and it tastes so good you won't miss meat.

This was our first time and what a great experience! We went when they were a little slower so it was perfect timing. Our waitress was polite and very helpful. The gentleman staff member was friendly and let my husband pick a record to listen to. A great atmosphere! The food was excellent and very flavorful. We received it quickly and it was fresh tasting and nice and hot! We left full and with leftovers. Would definitely recommend!

Ive never waited for food so long in my entire life. I've also never eaten anything so delicious. Myself and two friends waited nearly two hours but the food blew my mind. The staff was very apologetic but I had already finished my egusi with fufu and had started to lick my plate clean. I plan on going back soon with my partner.I really hope they work out whatever kinks they have between front and back of house because the food really is astounding.

We were excited to try this new spot. The plantains were delicious and my dad liked the beef stew. Unfortunately it took over TWO HOURS to get our food. The same was true for most of the tables around us. We ended up getting two of the entrees to go because we’d been there for so long and we still had to wait another half hour to get those. Hopefully it was just a bad night.

They were extremely busy, so we had a bit of a wait for our food, but it was definitely worth it. Everything came out hot and was very flavorful. The whole restaurant smells amazing. Unfortunately because they were so busy they were out of some of the items we wanted like curries and meat pies, but that just means we can get those next time. I got the smoked chicken jollof rice meal, which comes with fruit and plantains. I also got a side of pepper sauce. It was awesome.
