Sea Salt and Cinnamon catered our wedding - it was beyond delicious and absolutely beautiful. They did the food, cake, cookies, and even coffee. Everyone loved it, many said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding! Would highly recommend them!

My sister and her boyfriend came from Philadelphia to visit family in town. My sister is Vegan and doesn’t have many option in the area to enjoy a treat. This occasion was her second time visiting SSC. On her first visit she made a purchase right away, enjoyed her coffee and spent a brief moment on her laptop before heading out. She did mention that the atmosphere wasn’t the most inviting. On the second occasion she visited with her boyfriend and they sat on their laptops for about 10 minutes before they were offered menus and an opportunity to make a purchase. She then replied that she would buy something shortly, as they were both wrapping up some things for work on their laptops. After about 20 minutes they were approached again and informed that a purchase would need to be made or they would be asked to leave. They had every intention to make a purchase after finishing up their work. It’s unfortunate that one of very few vegan places in the area wasn’t a pleasant experience for them. After having this conversation with a couple of friends, we have found that she isn’t alone. Many of others that look like us have shared similar experiences visiting SSC.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and the macarons were delicious and nobody could believe they were vegan. Super easy to work with and super flexible. We greatly appreciated using you all for our wedding day. I don’t have a good photo of the macarons because everyone ate them haha, but they were adorable and larger than expect.

I have alpha-gal which is a syndrome in which I can’t eat any meat or byproducts from a mammal (beef, pork, lamb, dairy, gelatin, etc). Therefore, it’s difficult for me to find places to eat out that can accommodate me. What makes is even more difficult is cross contamination and finding delicious food. We stumbled upon this adorable shop during our short stay in Indiana (we live in South Carolina). Hubby got a breakfast burrito and an everything banana cookie and I got the mock Buffalo chicken wrap, a piece of coffee cake, and a chocolate chip cookie peanut butter sandwich (I went all out since it’s almost impossible to find sweets anywhere and no I didn’t eat it all in one sitting!). This was the best stop we made. The only con is they aren’t closer. I would love to try more and I’d probably eat here everyday! Unfortunately, we stopped on our way home or we would’ve went again. Absolutely delicious!!!Dietary restrictions: Vegan!

Vegan bakery, yahoo!!! Such a cute and quiet shop. Free wifi and great place to work. Ordered the dirty peppermint cocoa, LOVED IT. Also got a chocolate crinkle sandwich cookie which was so good. Many gluten free options. All drinks are vegan as far as I know.

I am so thankful to have Sea Salt and Cinnamon in Muncie. I recently had to cut out gluten, eggs and dairy, which meant giving up on a lot of my favorite sweet treats. Every time I go to the shop they have a delicious option I can try. I also usually don’t like macaroons, but their sea salt and cinnamon one was delicious! They also are very friendly and clean.

Perusing the Muncie scene for a Small Business Saturday splurge, I walked out of two breakfast-advertised businesses before ordering at SS&C because of their local competitors’ carbon copied approaches to meals—cheap non-fresh juice; unknown coffee sources; preference to the populated tables. I found myself a long-awaited source of joy here, after hearing so much about how good this place was via word of mouth. I have some constructive criticism, if the owner wishes to be proactive in the matter; but I want the public to know that my experience was overwhelmingly good.The price seemed a tad higher than expected; however, the value is absolutely appreciated from both hospitality and quality standpoints. Clean, with both hygiene and food source in mind. Quick service. And a wonderful hat tip to other businesses with which they work, of which I might add by name, Strange Brew Coffee (a pleasant taste-from-home surprise!)Vegetarian options: All vegan!!Kid-friendliness: Loud kid playing with the nutcrackers—no visible annoyance from owner or workers haha!!Dietary restrictions: Full detail of ingredients and sources without asking!
