My wife was a life time patron of Panos in Calumet City. After she had a Gyros platter at Athens Pita, she was blowing away. Awesome food. They give you a lot for your money. Go there. Try them. You will go back again.

Ordered at counter 2 Gyrosw fries. Meat was dried out like it had been reheated on the grill off the cone and hard burnt on the ends . Not at all what I remember a Good Gyros was.A Good Gyros is shaved off the cone as it is made to order not put on the grill to heat the meat up, who does that in a traditional Greek restaurant?Better GYROS on Calumet Ave

Solid pita sandwich place at a great price. Right under or around $10. Pita Wrap or Bowl. Choice of meat. Lots of choices of complimentary toppings, veggies, sauces to choose from. Guy was nice and to the point.

Ordered chicken breast platter. What was given was burnt chicken kabob with under cooked rice. Old onions with the salad. Not just that but the service you are given is based off your race. I fell in love with the gyro quesadillas years ago. However, for the past three years, the service has gone down hill. I have dinned in and done take out. Even ordered online many times. Today I was unable to pick up my order as usual. My dad was not treated like the other customers. The guy treated him less than but, treated the white people in the restaurant better. He discriminated all the way. It’s sincerely was not worth it.

I ordered the chicken gyro quesadillas with greek fries. Absolutely delicious! The greek fries have their house sauce with feta and green onions. I really enjoyed them. The quesadillas were great, too. Everything was hot and fresh, we did eat in. The atmosphere and bathroom need a little remodeling. I was disappointed that they didn't have most of the side orders available, and they no longer have in-house fountain drinks. Other than that, service was friendly and I will be back to try other things.
