Paying for looks because unfortunately taste isn’t there for the price point.

Overpriced... The atmosphere was nice. We were seated right away. Our server was very personable. We ordered a cocktail apiece. After they arrived at the table, a few moments later the server came up and said there was a mistake with the drink, that we were given the wrong one. She left the original. She came up again and said the other was a mistake as well. The manager came up and took my drink that was a mistake. It was odd that one was left and the other was taken. When looking at the wine list, it was very over priced and limited. The menu was limited as well. A chicken breast was $29 and pasta slightly less than that. There was nothing special about the taste. It was esthetically pleasing to look at, but that was about it. We shared a tiramisu for dessert and it was good. For 2 drinks, 2 entrees, and a shared dessert, our bill was $122.00. There isn't enough about this restaurant that would make us want to come back to dine here again.

The cocktail and service were very good. The food was horrible. It was very bland and there was no Parmesan or salt or pepper on the table. The bread was served without butter or oil and Parmesan. Do yourself a favor and go to Little Italy instead. The food is way better and a much better value.

Food was good ambiance was good but I actually left hungry I had chicken Parmesan and it was a small chicken breast on mashed potatoes no salad no pasta included and it was $29 I maybe odd but I'd like to get a little more for my money sorry didn't do it for me

The food was good, but not great....i thought it was pricey . The service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress was terrific and the other staff as well. I'm glad I tried it but I feel it's overpriced imo. I wish them well.

The restaurant is pretty. That’s about the only thing going for this place. However, my mother insisted on trying it because it’s close to her house. We started off in the bar area. We had to flag a server down to take our drink order. Drinks were OK. Typical NWI drinks. Again, nothing special whatsoever. The wine selection was fine. This is where it gets bad. We asked the server about the type of Italian food (we are Italian) that they serve there. He responded - “just Italian”. That was helpful (rolls eyes). No mention of regional style cuisine or interpretation of Italian food. As an Italian this was very embarrassing. We started off with the burrata and the meatball. The burrata was OK, but it’s hard to mess this up. The meatball was overcooked and over-seasoned and very salty. We ordered the lamb and the chicken. Both were disgusting. The bed of grease on the bottom of the plate wasn’t very appealing. I barely ate any of it and thought that for the price tag that it was a slap in the face of how they are trying to charge for something that clearly lacks basic culinary and presentation skills. My mom had the chicken and I tried some of hers. We both agreed it lacked flavor. I’ve had better chicken from a supermarket hot bar.Last was dessert. We had the apple desert. We asked for two and they brought us one with two forks. When we asked where the second one was, they said “oh, are you sure you want two?” I didn’t even know how to respond to that. They weren’t good. The apple wasn’t baked thoroughly. The ice cream/whipped stuff would’ve been okay if it wasn’t melting on our plate already. The staff were not pleasant to deal with here. From the bartenders to the server and even the hostess, nobody seemed happy to be there or happy to welcome us. The servers also need to learn professionalism as I heard them having unsavory conversations amongst themselves within earshot of guests.I don’t think this restaurant is justified in charging the prices on their menu. It’s arrogant and the quality of the food isn’t there. They seem to be trying hard to level up with the great Chicago Italian restaurants, but they fall flat and are nowhere close to any of them.Maybe they should reconsider their choice to open up an Italian restaurant.

Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was terrific! That being said, this isn’t the place to go if you’re hungry. The portions are small and the food is pretty expensive. I enjoyed going this one time to try it out but there’s better and cheaper options available in the area.

Pretty awful. All of the pastas and entrees we had were swimming in grease or oil. I don’t think the cooks here know how to properly cook Italian food. The seasonings and herbs missed the mark. The flavor profiles are off as well. Way too salty. The pasta doesn’t taste fresh. Way too much oil. Needless to say we won’t be coming back. Stick to old school Italian restaurants in Chicago if you want authentic Italian. Even if you’re trying to take a modern approach to Italian, you need to understand the foundations of Italian cooking.

Haven’t been here since it was True BBQ. So much better. Drinks are amazing. Cindy is the best with the shaker. Had the gettin Figgy with it. A fresh take on an old fashion that was perfect. Crab cakes aren’t on the menu but WoW. You have to try them. They’re the best. Definitely going back.

My husband and I came to Fiore on a recommendation from his cousin. We had a wonderful dinner and a bottle of great wine.My husband is not typically a fan of crab cakes however the owner offered it as a sample and it was completely delicious! Would definitely recommend this appetizer! We had the pasta fagioli soup which was really good and the fork and knife Caesar salad which was a little heavy on the garlic but had really good dressing. The white fish over spinach that my husband had was excellent and I had the chicken breast Marsala over mashed potatoes which I loved. The portions were perfect. No to go boxes needed. We split a raspberry sorbet which was wonderful. The wait staff and especially Dominick and José were especially attentive and helpful with recommendations. We will be back!

The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance but sadly, the food was terrible. Being that it's an Italian restaurant, there was no garlic, basil or flavor for that matter. Out of 3 dishes, everyone said the same about their dishes. Bland!!

My appetizer was on par with Olive Garden, my caesar salad was bland, and my entree was half the size of similar restaurants but at the full price. Nice ambiance, good service, but the food was not worth the price. Would only go again if I couldn't convince my date for the evening to go somewhere else.
