I enjoyed my sandwich so much I wanted to leave a review. The sandwich was fresh, the lettuce crisp and it was like I made it at home myself without the clean up. I like Unbeatable Eatables better than most subs. I wanted ice cream but decided against it. I'll be back very soon. I just thought...these sandwiches would be good for a picnic.Glad I stopped by.

I was very disappointed ?. I usually go to Country Club Hills. The food didn't taste or look like the original. Service was slow. Sorry. I was hoping it would be the same or better. I'll be traveling to IL for the original.

Stopped in for lunch after someone told us to try it. They have specials everyday and on Saturday it was two subs for $16.99. The subs were both good and the bread was very fresh. There was definitely enough to take half of the sub home for later. They have specials everyday which is nice. The place has a few tables and a tv on the wall. There's plenty of parking out front.

I was so excited to try the Munster location as my family went to the original Midlothian/Oak Forest location countless times. I understand it’s a different owner now.Overall enjoyed our experience, the Poseidon was very similar to what I remember, although it needed more meat. My daughter enjoyed her hotdog and ice cream. If open for suggestions, I would recommend bringing chocolate malts to the menu as that was a trademark of the original UE. Also it would be great to see some more tables and chairs that are family friendly. We enjoyed it, but coming from Cedar Lake, would like to see more to be considered a meal destination. Thanks!

Tiny place. Great sandwich I wish there was just a tad more toppings of peppers and olives. The price is high. I got a sandwich chips and 1/2 a pickle was almost $19. The staff was super nice and very respectful I’ll definitely go back but the price will keep me away for a

Had patronized the Country Club Hills store for years prior to moving to Munster area. Was so excited to see the store open at the Munster location. Have ordered the Poseidon from Munster 2 times and the sandwiches were great. Ordered online today for a 12pm pickup. When my husband went to pickup our sandwich the doors were locked and no one was visible inside store. He banged on door with no luck. The opening time is listed as 10:30am. He had to go back to car and phone. Someone did answer and unlocked door. The sandwich was disappointing. The bread was stale and the ingredients seemed to be less than our previous sandwiches. The staff is very nice. Am unsure if we’ll purchase again. Very disappointed as Unbeatables has always been our favorite sub.

We gave it a try. Carry out order. Wait was long. TV in restaurant was extremely loud. Our order was to go. Got home, no soup. Disappointed. I ordered a wrap and the tortilla was very dry. I'll give it one more try before saying it's a fail.

I got a roast beef and turkey platter from here and it was AMAZING! Everyone at my event raved about how delicious and fresh the sandwiches were. I will definitely be returning soon!

I live nearby and decided to try this new spot hoping this would be my new local sandwich lunch spot. I was wrong! Horrible experience!I walked in the first thing I noticed was they were playing the show called "The Boys" on the TV and the volume was blasting so loud. This was so incredibly inappropriate to play in a restaurant it's unreal. The gore, violence, language, and sexual content was so intense, disturbing, and overwhelming that I couldn't even believe that they were broadcasting it in a local sandwich shop with the volume on full blast with other customers in there. The staff wasn't even phased by it.I ordered two sandwiches for $25 and waited 25 minutes to get my food. The Rueben a sliver of corn beef and was all sauerkraut. This place is absolutely pathetic. Save yourself some time and money and go to Jimmy John's down the street.

I saw this new restaurant in Yelp, and thought I would try it. The owner is very sweet and enjoyable to talk to. I love corned beef sandwiches, but there are not many places around Munster that serve them, so that is what I ordered. I took it to go. I also got potato salad (very good), and a delicious chocolate shake. When I got home I enjoyed the meal very much. I could not finish the sandwich--it was large--so I finished it and the potato salad the next day. Definitely will be back soon to try another wonderful meal.

My family has been going to the Country Club hills location for 40 year (even when we lived in the Kankakee, IL area and also while living in Crown Point IN). Same great sandwiches and exceptional service. The ladies working there were very nice, so glad there is a shop closer to home blows all of the fast sub chains out of the water. A definite must try.

Tasty subs and friendly owners! Saw coupon in the mail and decided to check out this new place. Owners were very nice and made everything fresh to order. Food tasted great and we took our entire family back again!

I hardly ever leave a review. In this case I must say something. I frequently visit the location in Country Club Hills. The food is always great and so in the service. On the other hand I decided to try the location in Indiana. We attempted to order a Quart of chilli, which we needed to wait to see if it was enough we were told it was great, 5-7 min goes by still waiting. Its already prepared why the hold up.The lady offers me a taste test of the chicken gumbo which was MID but not totally bad. Few more minutes goes by still waiting. A guy comes in places an order for a sandwich. Im still waiting. Finally the lady comes back and tells me they don't have enough chilli to fulfill my order and ask if i want the gumbo or refund. I say just give me the gumbo. The chilli tastes NOTHING like the chilli from Country Club Hills it taste like it was straight from a can, nothing about it said homemade to me..it was'nt piping hot. I'm disappointed!!....Moral of this story is go where you know. I got my chilli and gumbo at the exact same time this guy got his sandwich that came in minutes after us.
