They need more people to help in the dining area and the grille. We left because we waited for our sugar and cream to come. It never did while our coffee was getting cold. The waitress was nice but severely understaffed. Plus they were out of a lot of food. I couldn't get the breakfast nachos, didn't have all the ingredients. They were also out of breakfast sausage and English muffin. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't English muffins and breakfast sausage the most common break by fast food? Why would a "breakfast" restaurant be out? Whoever owns this place really needs to take a good look at management and see what they're not doing. Dunkin Donuts across the street has much better service.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat with my business partner and I'm glad I did. The food was hearty and good. There was a lot of food for the money. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and hot. It was done quickly. I would recommend this place if you want a good , hearty breakfast for a reasonable price. I enjoyed it.

Really good little breakfast place! Great pancakes with multiple topping options. Get a carry out order and go across the street to the park behind the church while the weather is still good!

This is a fantastic local diner! Simple and delicious with kind-hearted people behind their counter doing their utmost during COVID. Their pancakes are fluffy and light, and if you come in the fall, definitely try their pumpkin pancakes!

So, I forgot to take pics, but I'm sure there are plenty. Breakfast is DEFINITELY their thing, but if you want foo foo breakfasts...it's not. Go to Wild Eggs, Toast on Market, Con Huevos, or Noosh Nosh if you are looking for that foo foo, expensive breakfast (which I very much enjoy too.) Having said the disclaimer, their breakfast is perfect! Diners are my thing and in the Louisville/Southern Indiana, the picking is few! Your choices for breakfast are those fancier breakfasts or Waffle House (which my stomach can't even actually stomach.) This place is great because they know HOW to cook breakfast!!!! We ordered one pancake, bacon extra crispy, English muffins, eggs over medium, hash browns, chocolate milk, and coffee. The ONLY bad thing...the coffee (not great.). The English muffins are a made-from-scratch recipe that was given from the previous owner of the old joint. They are grilled in a little butter and delicious! The bacon...perfect!!! Grilled flat, NOT greasy, crispy, and a great flavor. Not some thick-sliced, applewood smoked, gourmet bacon, but excellently cooked, good bacon! The pancake was fluffy, enormous (10-12 inch) and fantastic tasting. The batter may be a tiny bit sweet which adds a nice cake-like bonus. Ok, two things the trendy places done make well...hash browns. Theirs were shredded potatoes, golden brown and crispy. They were not seasoned (maybe slightly salt and peppered), but well cooked. Lastly, I get so tired of going to Cracker Barrel, Con Huevos, and Wild Eggs and getting a gross egg (poached on Benedict or on top of my enchiladas, or just over medium) that the WHITES are "snotty" and runny. That is not a well-cooked poached or over medium egg! This place served two perfectly cooked over medium eggs. The place is nothing fancy, but a simple diner inside a strip mall and the staff were friendly and well attentive. Great place for a normal breakfast, well-cooked.

We just had a great breakfast here and were delighted that the owner bought my mom breakfast for her 90th birthday. What a nice guy.

We enjoyed the food, the service, and the dedication of the people to provide a safe place to eat. The person who served us was wonderful and we will return.

4 stars might be a tad generous but since pancake specialty places are my favorite I felt like this place made the cut. I would probably aim towards 3.5 stars overall. Somewhere that's about an hour from my home I don't have to go 4 hours to the Smokey mountains to get a decent breakfast, this place will do. Got there a little before 2pm and the waitress acted like we were too late even though the business hours are until 2:30 pm. Her attitude the whole time made us feel like she was ready to leave. The doors were locked at 2. The food was decent, nothing really spectacular. The pancakes were pretty big! They are called mega cakes and cover the entire plate. The syrup however, was served in little cups which I don't like and had to ask for a little more. Syrup bottles would be easier and better for the customers. Overall not bad and I'll be back.

Very clean. Very welcoming. Staff and owner were very friendly and more than accommodating. The kiddos had more than enough coloring books and crayons to play with. Portion sizes were amazing. My husband is a big guy and he was impressed with the amount and quality of the food. We will be back.

This restaurant has gone by a couple of different names: the English Muffin, a Nice Restaurant. Nothing has really changed. Good breakfast and average lunch food with OK service. Small and quiet. I've had the french toast and the pancakes. Decent, but not special. It does beat eating at McDonald's, but not by much. That's it. Go there if you want a quiet, average breakfast. The prices are OK. Enjoy. Don't expect much!

Went here for breakfast this morning since my son didn't want to wait 45 minutes at our normal favorite breakfast place. He wanted to try here. This is just a run of mill diner. Floors were dirty and tables were cleaned off sloppily. Food was ok, just like any other greasy spoon diner you would find roadside while traveling. They had eggs Benedict but after seeing how they kept the place, I was not going to eat any holindase sauce made here. There are better options in the area, don't waste your time.

So me and my family go in for brunch today. We were advised that they are closing early today. Ok? Well they were closing two hours from the time we came in. Remember first impressions are everything! And sos were advised they will be running an auger in the back so it may get loud. Ok so just tell us you don’t want us here and close the doors lol. I do have to say the staff seemed outwardly nice. Food on par with a mid grade Waffle House, nothing fancy or exciting to write about. Wouldn’t bother me one bit if I never went back. So 3 out of five. Just flat out average.
