It’s cool. Take your kids & grandkids here after the Games. The big grand table in the middle sits 20 for your larger parties. Fun classic people can go here to relax for true Americana service without the extra extreme hoopla. Price is $$ so expect a $25 meal for 2 if it’s a date.

I have visited this place twice at different times for different meals. Both times the service and food were terrible! It's a shame the residents of New harmony ca y get a decent cheeseburger here or a decent order of fried potatoes!! Their cook needs to go back to school. They definitely need better food or they likely won't be in business much longer. Seems the older residents with no taste buds are the only happy customers.

Do you love home cooking? Stephanie has you covered. They are open Monday through Saturday 6:30-2:30. Most days have a special plate lunch, but a breakfast menu is available until around 10 and then lunch time takes off! Fill your belly with hot pancakes and bacon or maybe a famous omelette for breakfast and then come back for lunch. Some of my favorite lunch specials are Taco Tuesdays, Catfish Fridays, and Meat loaf. Bring the kids and they can finish off lunch with a gourmet ice cream shake!

This place is awesome!! I have no idea why others gave such bad ratings. At lunch the place had probably 3-4 booths with people, but it started filling up. We order and received our food in a reasonable amount of time. The food was how we ordered and was good. For breakfast the place was packed. It took a little longer to get waited on, but the place was full. Our waitress apologized for the wait, which wasn’t that long.

Very personable staff. Burger was amazing. Catfish really tasty. German tasters yummy. Funnel cake fries to go! Be prepared for a wait on food, but it’s worth it.

Only doing 1 stars because there is no option for 0 stars. Went in for the first time, a waitress just glanced at us and said sit wherever. Sat there for almost 10 minutes with no greeting. I ordered the western omelette (all meats and veggies) and my husband ordered the farmers omelette. Took a long time to come out (only 3 other tables were there) waitress and I guess the owner were too busy socializing. When our food finally came out I had maybe a piece of ham and a couple small pieces of sausage and no veggies that I could see. My husbands was so burnt and had almost raw slices of potatoes in his and hardly any veggies and no meat at all. I took one bite and could taste the burnt eggs. My husband wouldn’t even take a bite of his due to how burnt it was. We waited for a waitress to come back to our table, never happened. My husband went up to the counter to let them know our food was inedible, he was ignored by the 3 people in the kitchen that looked right at him.We drove 30 minutes to try a small business, but I guess they only worry about the locals. So disappointed

Not sure why everyone raved about the breakfast. It was good but I thought my scrambled eggs there tasty but were a little dry, same with the sausage patty and biscuit. The service was fast and friendly. A little wait for the food. Prices were excellent.

Just got a milkshake, was super good! Lady running the place was rude to her workers in front of customers and had a very bad attitude. Not understaffed, but also not dividing work fairly. Along with not following order queue of making food.Took 35 minutes for 5 milkshakes.

Locally owned and operated. One thing I love about the main is my food is always piping hot. I love getting a quick bite in the mornings. Try the McMain we love them.

What a nice restaurant. My dad and I had breakfast and each of our meals were plentiful and tasty. This is a charmingly quaint cafe with an abundance of personality. There were groups of locals gathered and most people knew each other’s names. I had the best omelet. I highly recommend this place. Although we only had breakfast here, I can imagine thier other meals are nice as well.

Waited over an hour for our food and then ended up choking on a piece of plastic that was in an omelette, servers don’t care about taking orders they would rather stand there, won’t be back. Horrible.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant I’ve been to. Food was gross, cheap, and barely edible. Sodas were watered down, and no refills offered. I think they have a toaster oven and a microwave in the back, a 6 year old could rustle up a better lunch than this place. Service was slow and lazy. Take $6 to the gas station down the street and you will be better off getting a bag of chips and a drink there. This place makes McDonald’s seem like fine dining. Never again!!!!
