The question on everyone's mind is: "Is it worth it?" To which, I reply YES!Three of us had dinner on a Monday late afternoon. We were seated with 4 other people with whom there was no interaction. Our server, an extremely pleasant guy that had only recently started there, took our order and brought us tasty soup and salad (ginger dressing on salad was mild and tasty; soup was flavorful). We ordered the Hibachi Fillet Mignon, Hibachi Shrimp, and Hibachi Salmon. Our chef came out with a full cartload of raw food. First he made us all fried rice (excellent, and we laughed as eggs dropped from a squawking rubber chicken!). He then made us noodles. Then a huge tray of veggies hit the grill (broccoli, carrots, onions, etc). Each course was served piping hot as it became ready. Then the main courses hit the grill - delicious fillet mignon for my wife, fresh salmon for my son, and shrimp for me. There was no need to worry about quantity, each meal was plenty to fill us right up! Highly recommend the fillet - I got a taste and it literally melted in my mouth...worth the extra $3 for sure. My shrimp were plentiful and tasty. The salmon looked excellent, my son loved it, but I didn't get a chance to taste it. Even though we were comfortably full, I got us 1 slice of raspberry lemon cheesecake for the 3 of us to split. It was just delicious even though it was not at all like a traditional cheesecake. This had the cheese filling on top, a yellow cake in the middle, a layer of raspberry, and crumbs on the bottom. Magnificent. After driving 600 miles to view the Solar Eclipse in April 2024 we wanted a memorable meal that night. The Koto Japanese Steakhouse did a perfect job of making a spectacular day perfect!

When we eat in at the Hibachi, food is always excellent. Today and one other time we got take out. No seasoning and food was lack luster. My warning to you is only eat in. Don’t expect to get the same flavor…even though you pay the same price. And even left a tip.

Good selection of hibachi food. Fun for kids. New policy that everyone at the hibachi table must get a meal, no sharing. Entry smells funny.

You have to be desperate to want to celebrate a special event like birthday etc at this resturant. We have visited maybe 3 times in the last 18 months and each time there is a steady erosion of everything from making reservations (we called to make reservation they said no need we are not busy. My family and I show up 15 minutes later and the same guy who answered phone said sorr 30 minute wait ?. When asked about that he said sorry we got busy, really?! Isn’t that why I called to make a reservation ?) then to the actual presentation of the Habatchi cooking, what happened to the chop chop onion train or the eggs drawing or the rice heart beat or the rubber chicken scare or whatever nothing? Then the food and served portions less than average with Luke warm bland soup and salad in a two inch bowl, really?! Our bill was $111 before tip for 3 people. Never again after 3 opportunities at this restaurant!

Birthday celebration at Koto was real fun. The food made at the table by a chef who was entertaining. The service was good and they even accommodated someone who was allergic to certain ingredients. We had our own space and had fun!

Our boys chose Koto for their 18th birthday celebration, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food, service, and overall ambiance were top-notch. Even the couple we met at the show were lovely. I cannot say enough about this place and the extra efforts Koto made to make this birthday a birthday to remember for my boys/men! Thank you! Highly recommend!!

Placed an order online, received a confirmation email, then when I arrived I was told they don't receive the order unless it's paid for ahead of time, which wasn't even an option on the website. Then when they keyed in the order at the restaurant, it's was 20% more, so the prices on the website were wrong. I then said I'll be sure to call it in next time and asked for a to go menu and was told they don't have any. So, to recap, the online ordering doesn't work, the prices are incorrect anyway and they don't have a to go menu, so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to call in an order. I'll be ordering from somewhere else next time. Two stars are because the food is good, but knowing you have an issue with ordering and not taking down the site is just ridiculous. Then when you arrive to pick up and it's 20% more.
