I went for breakfast, my first time there. I like crisp bacon, but this was very crisp. To much grease for me and the restaurant was cold. I only took my coat off, as I didn't want to get egg yoke on it. Food was good, but to much grease for me. No decaf coffee. I was disappointed.

Was out driving around enjoying a Saturday when we stopped through Owensville and saw Main Street Cafe. I love visiting these little diners!Breakfast served all day! Small town diner with a staff that is friendly. Food is what we expected. Would recommend visiting, be sure to save room for dessert!

No words can tell you how awful the food and our experience was at this place when we walked in for breakfast, there was no server to be found. That should have been our clue. But we stayed and ordered a basic egg meal. Mine was so greasy it was inedible. What topped it was when the cook?/owner? Engaged the only other customers on the stupidity of COVID vaccines. He went on to bash social media liberalism. No masks, no vaccinations - we were literally sitting in a COVID hotbed. Run from this place. Hoping I don’t have food poisoning.
