Went there for a birthday dinner, 5 adults and w children. Food was excellent along with the service. The young man who waited on us was awesome. I believe his name was Yancy. He made it a pleasure to eat there. Thanks Yancy!Parking: Plenty of parking.

We used to come here at least twice a month after church, and it was always really good food, at a decent price, and the service was great. It has been a couple of years, and we kinda missed it since we don't live close anymore. So we decided to go and were shocked when we saw the price hike. We figured it would be worth it, though, since we knew it was good. When they dished it out, though, we noticed that the portion sizes were much smaller than before, and the quality and flavor of the food was nowhere near as good. Overall, we were very disappointed. The only thing that stayed the same was the best service from the waitress. But even the show was very lacking. I don't think we will make the trip to go back again. Our bill total for 3 people was $160, just for reference. We did order an appetizer and sushi roll also, both of which were again not worth the price.Kid-friendliness: They are very kid friendly. As long as your kids don't get scared easily or have an aversion to loud noises.

Eaten there multiple times. Food is always overcooked. Not a big deal. Terrible service. Lady at front desk sent the server running into parking lot because a tip wasn’t left on the tab and had her ask for a tip. I tipped in cash at the table. Very poor service and won’t go there again.

Food was amazing, wound up sitting by myself at the hibachi grill. The chef was in great spirits, talkative and thorough enjoyed by yours truly! I was sat and eating within 5 mins!!! 10/10

Personally.. what the prices are and what you get, it isn't worth it. It's very overpriced, but that is my option. The staff was great and it was clean with no wait. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves.

We moved to Indiana about 6 months ago and restaurant food is not the quality or flavor profile we're used to but found Akira to be consistent and delicious! My daughter says their crab rangoons are the best in the state :) The hibachi chef we had was talented and friendly :) The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is although they are very friendly our waiter was a bit much at times. We appreciate attentive service but we do like to be left alone to enjoy our meal and each others conversation without constant interruption and really could have done without the really loud screeching when someone is celebrating a birthday but we're not going to let that stop us from coming back :)

Me and my girlfriend LOVE coming here and try to as much as we possibly can. Ignore all the bad reviews. We have been here at leaat 20 times. The service has ALWAYS been good. Sometimes they get slow but thats a given considering they have parties of 7+ people they are also serving. The food is always very fresh and the chefs make the experience amazing! I highly recommend trying Akira!
