Fries were soggy. Sauces were put in with hot items that melted the plastic containers which let the sauces run out everywhere. No coleslaw included. I will say the taste of everything except for the fries was good.

While a little on the pricey side, the food was A1, the best. I ordered the Alfredo with shrimp and lobster, in addition to the fried green tomatoes. The food was filling, the portions were huge and I loved the customer service.

I do not like giving bad reviews on restaurants, but I couldn't help this after the amount of money my husband spent. We both bought catfish filet and grilled fish tacos. I didn't even eat my catfish because when I looked at it, it looked like it was fried in old grease because it was so dark. My husband started eating his. He's not as picky as ne, and he was so disappointed. So of course, I couldn't eat it. Both fish wasted. Then I pinched on the grilled fish tacos. They were in flour tortillas very soggy and had something on it that I couldn't recognize. It was awful! The worse tacos ever. I wish I had tried the seafood boil.

The food we had was fantastic. I tried Alligator bites for the first time and they were really good. The sauce we got with it was soooo good. The Shrimp Ravioli was excellent. The Fried Green Tomatoes were cooked perfectly for me. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank You!

This is a good place to eat. It's more like a Cajun boil place than a seafood restaurant and that is great. They've got a full bar. There isn't a bar to sit at but they'll make whatever drink you want. I could see back in the kitchen area where the drinks are made and they are fully stocked so feel free to get your drink on. I've been to three Cajun style restaurants in this area. One is out of business, the other is located in a mall and it isn't that great. Then there's this one and it's the one local Cajun place I'll go to every time. I recommend it. It's out of the way and easy to drive by. I've passed this place a hundred times on my way home from work. The parking lot is kind of dark and most of the parking is in the back. When you're driving by at 50mph it's one of those places that gets overlooked. That is a mistake. The restaurant is clean. The service is good. The food is reasonably priced but it isn't cheap food. The crab legs and shrimp were huge. The portions are generous and high quality. The lady I spoke to said they'd been in business about three years. We were there on a Friday night three weeks before Christmas and it was empty. I'm concerned because this is a really good place to eat in Portage. Most of the restaurants are crappy chain restaurants and we need good places like this one to stay in business. We were driving home afterwards and passed by Applebee's. The parking lot was packed. Applebee's sucks. If you're in Portage and want some good food then go to Deep Blue Seafood. It's about a third of a mile west of Swanson Road on Highway 6. There's a handful of restaurants I really like in Portage. This one is on that list. It's locally owned and I hope enough people support it that it stays in business.

This was our second time, both times did not disappoint. The fried green tomatoes are the best I've ever eaten! The fried okra is also delicious. The service is outstanding!

I ordered through grubhub and my cole slaw. And dessert was missing and deep blue personally brought it out to me. Everything was terrific and I will order from there again.

Food was good, my catfish was fried to perfection and the seasoning was delicious. I even tried fried okra and it was good and I don't care for okra. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves and the Karaoke DJ Meechie is a definite bonus. My only complaint would be the size of the cocktails, pretty small for the price.

Amazing little gem you can easily miss! When I found it on the web, I was skeptical but I really had a craving for a soft shell crab sandwich and this was the only place around that had one so we decided to go. The food was awesome! Packed with flavor! I got my sandwich, crab cakes and some fried green tomatoes, my man got the shrimp jambalaya and calamari, and we were definitely satisfied. The waitress was super nice, they were playing good music, and the vibe was upbeat. This will be my go to spot every time I crave seafood!

Ordered my food while on the way through town. Threw my food away at the nearest gas station. The cheese in the Mac was gritty, the shrimp smelled off and there was a thin layer of grease on top of the bowl. My dog wouldn't eat it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
