Food is excellent, atomsphere is great, prices are reasonable and service is top notch. Don't let a small business fail. Support this establishment !

9 One One Tavern/Johnny’s Jazz Kitchen is a great addition to the otherwise lackluster Richmond food scene. We ordered the etoufee, Jambalaya, gumbo and chili dogs and everything was delicious.

9 One One Tavern/Johnny's Jazz Kitchen is a great addition to the otherwise lackluster Richmond food scene. We ordered the etoufee, Jambalaya, gumbo and chili dogs and everything was delicious. Solomon (the head chef) really knows his Creole food and clearly takes great pride in his work. Highly recommend checking out this little gem!

Great food and service. Chef came to our table personally and explained the dishes. Would highly recommend even though I'm not typically a Cajun food fan, the food was excellent.

I'm always up for a new place, especially something unique. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was really nice. The food was really good, and so was the bread. I would liked to have more than 2 small slices. I did ask for more. The bar area is very nice. The food was served on plastic so that was a negative for me. I ordered dessert, the bread pudding. I was very disappointed. It was dry, no custard, and the bourbon sauce did not have much bourbon flavor. We will give it a try again. The staff was so friendly.

The bar tender Jodie is amazing!! Such a great personality. The owner happened to be there and he told us how the bar got started. It is New Orleans themed and very fun. The food (Jambalaya & Gumbo & lots of yummy other stuff) was fabulous!!! Don't let the area near the bar fool you! There are lots of things in the works for the near future and it is all good!! When you go, plan to stay awhile. It will be worth it!

Connected to Johnny's Jazz restaurant. 911 has plenty of parking in the rear (Midtown Pharm) with well lit rear entrance. Rather intimate little bar with several tables for two, and one large round table for 6. Very clean, and friendly. Cozy is a good word for here. The restaurant feels like a family picnic with terrific food from chef Solomon. They are very proud of this new endeavor with a lot of reason. Great care is taken to foster a laid back New Orleans cuisine dining experience. I've had the Gumbo which was terrific, with very good Cole slaw at lunch. Went back with family for dinner and had the Voodoo Alfredo (delicious) with cornbread with jalapenos. Best cornbread in my life! Bread Pudding for dessert. Oh...you MUST eat the bread pudding. Everyone had something slightly different. My daughter had the Alfredo with shrimp. Loved it. Everyone was very happy and excited about the food. The full bar can definitely satisfy your desires there.
