There is a sign on the door that says... "For the foreseeable future, we will be closing at 9pm due to staff shortages." So we knew going in at 7:40pm on a Friday night that it may be understaffed with long waiting times. But we hadn't been to an Applebees since before CV19. They were advertising a 2 for $25 special so we decided to go. I found the app and downloaded it. Signed up for the rewards program and got an email for a free appetizer with a $15 purchaseWe did have to wait about 10 min for someone to ask how many were in our party. Then another 10 min to be seated. There were lots of empty tables but clearly not very many waitresses. Our server was super sweet.. we ordered the 2 for $25 which included a choice of 1 appetizer to share (Boneless wings) and 2 dinners from a special section on the menu. (We each got the cheeseburger & fries). Plus, our free appetizer with the app (chicken nachos). We got an iced tea. We difny have to wait long for drinks. The appetizers came in about 10-15 min. Then the entrés came before we were done with our apps. So, great times on food service. And everything was delicious! We will be going back.

Closing at 9? It's been one thing after another with this location. Computers, service, cleanliness... all an after thought here. I wish I could rate the food or service today, but they never seem to be open.

I started eating my salad & the lettuce that was on the top was fresh & crisp then I started getting to the middle and stopped eating it the lettuce was slimy and looked as if it had been frozen ? they did take it off the bill but that sure did explain why they were slow on a Sunday between 12 & 1pm. I will probably never eat here again.

Went for the $14.99 all you could eat. Riblets were OK, boneless wings good. But the shrimp was delicious! Service excellent, and it was a quiet night.

Was seated on the opposite side of the restaurant that we politely asked for, for sentimental reasons. The older lady ignored us and walked us to the complete other side of the restaurant. When we were seated, next to an elderly couple, and beside a couple of children who were at a separate table. They were talking to the elderly couple and you could tell they weren't together. So we overheard that these two children belonged to one of the waitresses. One waitress asked if they had eaten and the children said no. They were not being supervised and were getting restless. I don't blame the children. Why would you sit your customers right beside unsupervised children and on the other side unsupervised children by strangers. They weren't sitting quietly.When we finally got our food it was cold and the meat wasn't done. When we tried to get it fixed the guy from the kitchen was nasty with us. We didn't eat our food and was charged for one dinner. This used to be our favorite restaurant and a place that was special to us. We will not be back. Sad.

I drove 40 minutes to the Applebee's in Richmond Indianato come home and find hair in every single bowl of food we received and some glitter specs in only one bowl. Super disappointed and dissatisfied. We hardly ever go out to get food anywhere and to see this just disappoints in all. We have Called multiple times tonight to try to resolve this matter and not a single answer has come of it. Hopefully they will answer in the morning to give this another shot.

I went to Applebee's with my family. The service sucked. And when I got my steak it had so much seasoning on it I couldn't eat it. To be fair the salad was good. But that's it. Will never go back. Save yourself don't go there.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to write this, but I guess I will so other people can see my opinions and then decide for themselves. I used to live in Richmond and would eat at this Applebee's on a regular basis. It was always a wonderful experience all the way around. I am not sure what has happened, but it was not a good experience. I had lunch a few months back, and it was fine, but I went back for dinner a few weeks ago, and it was terrible. The food was not good at all. The bourbon street steak is nothing like I remember it used to be. Our waitress was great. She returned my girlfriends steak, and they messed it up a 2nd time. She removed it from the bill. Mine was wrong, but I ate it anyway, but it was nothing like they used to be. I was very disappointed. I've always loved that place but definitely will not go back.

I stopped in with my family on Christmas Eve, and was greeted by an older woman I was told was named Melissa. I Explained to her that I had a large party with multiple car seats and we needed to be seated somewhere out of the main walkways (ideally near a corner) so that the sleeping babies wouldn't impede on other patrons needing to use the hallways or restroom. After suggesting multiple open tables and being told multiple times that "there are no waiters working that area" she insisted we sit directly across from the only two other families in the entire place. I explained again that I needed a table that wouldn't inconvenience the other guests, and showed her that the table she was suggesting we sit at, was filthy. I showed her that it had popcorn and crayons underneath it and a sweater on a chair from the previous patron. She then picked up the sweater and began to argue with me that the filthy table had just been cleaned and somehow they had just forgotten the sweater and all the crumbs. After multiple pleas, and even suggesting Another table near by, She repeatedly refused to let me and my family sit at absolutely any other table in the restaurant beside the specific one she demanded. Me, still trying to be decent and respectful, but tired of arguing with this woman on Christmas Eve, just turned around, loaded up my entire family back in the car, and made new plans. It was an incredibly disappointing and inconvenient experience from a employee who blatantly has no respect, courtesy or desire to do their job..
