We’ve been stopping at this Cracker Barrel for years on our way between Indiana and Ohio, and it has never disappointed. Today, it took awhile to be seated, but our server, Melanie gave us excellent service. The food was hot and good - true comfort food. Melanie refilled my husband’s drink several times and apologized when it took her awhile to get back to him. She is the first Cracker Barrel server who remembered to bring us just one biscuit each when we requested that - no sense wasting a biscuit that were too full to eat.
I always enjoy a good cracker barrel. Checking out the trinkets before going i to the restaurant always is a joy to see what they have in stock.The food is always good, and the service is beyond a normal cafe setting.

Was the worst experience I have ever had at a Cracker Barrel. 1st, we were seated and placed drink and food orders. Other tables came in and were seated after us, and they all received their meals before us. We had been waiting over 45 mins, and our waitress said they were waiting on the chicken n dumplins. Then the food came out 5 mins later and it was TERRIBLE !! The chicken n dumplins looked like they dumped chicken broth in them and heated it in a microwave. Definitely was NOT gravy. Tasted terrible. Did not eat any of them. The only thing we were told was sorry you didn't like them. We usually eat here 1 or 2 times a month but will definitely NOT be back after this experience.

Unfortunately this store was not very clean. The lantern was gross.Food took for ever not the usual Cracker Barrel way, the poor server was forgetting everything

First the good: great service and good muffin.However, if you can't eat black pepper or simply don't like it you will be out of luck. The mashed potatoes/gravy were heavily peppered, as was the fried chicken. Also, the chicken must have been sitting under a warming light for awhile. The breading was dry and chewy. Sadly, although once a favorite fish, the green beans were tasteless other than a smokey flavor.
