I don’t like to do bad reviews…My family (3 meals) dined in and this was our first time here. The food was undercooked on two meals and flavorless. The place looked like it was trashed. Majority of the lobby was filled with boxes and paperwork for the restaurant. Dining in was surprisingly plastic boxes with plastic forks and small portions.Felt like I wasted money to be honest. Very disappointed.

Closing and I'm not surprised. I ordered take out...fried rice had not flavor but crab eangiin was edible with dipping sauce.This used to be a great place to eat!

I hate having to write this review, but Great Wall is not what it used to be…by a long shot. The last several times I have ordered from them, it’s consistently terrible. I have ordered 3 different things and it’s still bad…I have ordered from them for over 15 years, but I’m officially done. It’s a total waste of money. I know people are frustrated because they haven’t opened the buffet back up, but personally, I think it would make zero difference if they did. The food would still be terrible. They are nice on the phone and when you pick up, but I can’t justify the money.

Quality has went so far down and they’ve doubled the price. It’s inedible and they REFUSE to open the buffet and still have the nerve to blame Covid regulations. As if they’re not the last restaurant in the world to still be saying that.

Lobby closed . Building needs updated badly . I would not eat inside . But picking up your food is good . $20 for a meal for 1 person. Also my fried rice is white rice with soybean oil mixed in it to make it yellow . No egg/veggie/onion to make fried rice. Crab rangoons need more crab meat also .

Food is usually pretty good. However sometimes they are rude on the phone. They also have not opened back up to dine in. Unlike most other businesses in the area.
I have been a customer of Great Wall Richmond for over 25 years. This place is NOT what it once was. It's obvious they have cut about every corner they can. The food has been consistently terrible. I have been back over and over this year to give them a chance. I will no longer be giving them my money or my business. That was the last $15 I throw in the trash ? thanks for the memories

IF YOU'RE NOT A BUFFET, THEN DONT ADVERTISE IT ONLINE!!!!!And if it's as simple as a discrepancy, then do not be rude when a family comes in asking if the buffet is open.Walking in with my children, the first thing my son said was he felt nervous because it felt like we were walking into a haunted house there was even a mad falling asleep setting up at one of the tables! Absolutely would not recommend, and I only put 2 stars on the food because we left without actually trying. Maybe they're good for take-out. .....? Not sure, my family however will not ever return to this location!!!

General toes are not supposed to be hard. The last few times that I have got them they have been hard and the pepper, steak and youngs didn't even taste like onions. I'm very disappointed the Great Wall over in Indianapolis off of 16th Street over by the race track. That's the best great wall rest on if it's still in business. If I was over in Indianapolis that's where I would go. This general toes that this great wall is terrible
