this is the best restaurant in richmond. the service is great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is the best you can get anywhere near here! everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and you cannot go wrong! 10/10 must try!Vegetarian options: there is a whole vegetarian section of the menu!Wheelchair accessibility: there is a ramp leading to front door as well as seating that is wheelchair accessible!
We decided to eat there yesterday as we had a few things to shop for in Richmond. What an amazing selection of food! The appetizers were amazing and enough to fill you up. The main course was excellent as well. One of the best Indian restaurants we've ever ate at.The only thing better then the food were the owners! They took the time to ask us how our meal was, and then chat with us for about 10 mins. We usually drive to Dayton for one of our favorite restaurants, now we will make the drive to Richmond and eat at Gulzar's!!!

We visited for our daughter's birthday just this last weekend, and between my youngest daughter and myself we are VERY picky eaters! With that being said, this is ONLY Indian food. There is no "chicken tenders" option. However, we absolutely enjoyed this experience. My oldest daughter loves trying new things and she LOVED this whole experience. The staff was WONDERFUL! They all went above and beyond to take care of us and the food was so good. Restaurant was busy when we got there, they gave us the option of taking up two tables rather then wait for people to leave (which was very much appreciated)..we had two adults and four teenagers and ordered quite a variety of things to try. Ordering one entree per person may not be the first choice, the entrees we plenty big enough to split between two people so I highly recommend ordering some breads or apps along with it for the full experience. THANK YOU Gulzar's for giving us the best dinner for our daughters birthday!!

This building has been many different types of restaurants in the past, none of them last more than a couple years. But Gulzar's is almost always busy! The food is excellently made, reasonably priced and comes out quickly. The service is second to none! I'll always go back whenever I'm in town!

Great food & even better service! The whole staff was attentive. We didn't have one specific waiter or waitress..... more like everyone was concerned that we had a good experience. I have food allergies & they made sure that everyone knew so that there were no issues. Haven't had very much Indian food but they made some excellent recommendations. Well definitely be back!
