“Talk about a great experience. You can dine in the caboose, which is wonderful. We ordered the El Mocojeta stone rimmed pedestal with slices of steak, chicken, nopal,onions, and bell peppers, with rice, beans and tortillas. Enough for 2 or 3 in our case. This was absolutely amazing. The salsa is also a winner. We ordered the small guacamole, but it's Pico de Gallo and cut up hunks of avocado. I'm not a fan. We would eat here again for sure“

“We showed up today unannounced as a team after a hockey game. The service was the best I have ever had. The quality of the food was amazing. I highly recommend if you are in the area to stop in. We will definitely be back on our next trip through Owensboro.“

“You may find Mi Ranchito a little off the beaten path, but it is worth the trip down Carter Road. There is ample parking on both sides of the building. They have a large L-shaped dining room that doesn't feel crowded even with a large party. The menu is quite extensive, so you may want to take a few minutes to look it over. My personal favorite is the chicken fajitas. I don't know what they season them with, but they are perfect!!! If you like it spicy like I do, ask for hot sauce....it's a treat, a little smoky with some good heat!!!! We have always had great, fast service. Oh... did I mention warm chips???“

“Ernesto has worked diligently to make this the best Mexican restaurant for miles around. The food is excellent and he even cook's to a reasonable request. The building looks WELL maintained as it should... and 99% of Mexican restaurant building establishments do NOT look properly maintained. He is there everytime I visit so I know he is actively involved in making it a GOOD experience. As of this writing I will say, the prices at his establishment can't be beat.
