I called for carry out. I asked if they were Neapolitan pizza? I was told yes. So I ordered a medium, Neapolitan pizza and what I recieved was not Neapolitan. This would have been a 5 star review had the crust been Neapolitan or had I just wanted a thin crust pizza. My issue is this is not Neapolitan pizza, even if it's very tasty pizza.

I've visited family in Italy and enjoyed many outstanding meals. I'm here to tell you Giuseppe's Italian restaurant is the real deal! This intimate spot has great atmosphere. Loved the mural and the music. The service was warm, friendly and efficient. The food was mouth-watering, authentic and meticulously prepared. We had appetizers of calamari and bruscetta which were light and flavorful. I had the spinach ravioli with meatballs which I highly recommend. The ravioli was so tender with the perfect mix of spinach and cheese. The meatballs and sauce are heavenly. We had a party of 8, and everyone loved their meal. Congratulations to Mr. Belmont, his son Giuseppe and all family working to make this the best Italian restaurant in Northwest Indiana!!! We will be back.

This is far and away one of the best meals and atmospheres we’ve found since moving to the area from Chicago. Lovely staff, excellent food, and nice, intimate ambiance. It feels family friendly enough to bring your children, nice/intimate enough for a romantic date night out, and inviting enough to bring the friends & family who may be visiting!

It's small inside, but the food is always good and servers polite. Tonight we had the pizza delivered. It was very good.
The non Chicago style pizzas aren't great but the other pizzas and everything else are excellent.
