Very slow service! Our server ignored us for most of the meal, then tried to make excuses for never coming by to check on us and not bringing refills out. My fish and chips were good. He brought my husband the wrong burger, but then tried to convince him it was a full pound burger. The pretzel and cheese was good, along with the poutine. Sadly, this was our only visit to Region Ale.

My husband and I went here for the first time to try something new. We waited over 30 minutes for a server and never saw one. Finally the manager came over and took our order. We waited another 15 minutes for our drinks when we ultimately decided to leave and go somewhere else because we were starving.

First time going and probably won't be back. The service was terrible and food is alright. Waited 20 minutes for a water, only saw our server twice as everyone else brought us our stuff, and 45 minutes for a sampler platter that should take 10 maybe 15 minutes tops. The bartender refused to help us when we weren't getting service and another man basically served us most of the time trying to make it better which was appreciated. Management needs to have a conversation with their employees on good service.

Table of 7. Every burger a hockey Puck despite medium or less requested. Patty melt was burnt rye on both sides giving 2 croutons as the bread. Could not even bite through it. Refired sandwich was better. Overall, everything needs salt. Fries boring as standard bag fries with no life. Curds are cubed cheese... Not curds. Cold, canned marinara. Beer cheese pretzel was delicious, but beer cheese sauce was aggressively split and runny. It wouldn't stick to anything to function as a dip. Pulled pork lacked BBQ sauce and overall flavor. Cuts on veg were chaos. Inch thick red onion on a burger? Dried out outer rings? Why? No refills coming across the table for 40 minutes while we waited. Staff apologetic, but our table about volunteered to cook our own food. Kitchen seemed horrifically backed up and it showed. I get the forced 20% tip.... But I feel our table was left to rot while food didn't come, drinks weren't filled, and the band set up. I won't bother coming back and I wouldn't recommend it a bit. Wasted time and money.

I've moved from the area so I dont' come here as often but wanted to give them a shout out. I really like this place. It's an extra bonus when the weather is nice and you can sit outside. They food is decent and they have a great selection of specialty beers. My favorite is the Toffee beer they offer I believe it's for a limited time. They also have live bands. Service if fast and friendly and the atmosphere is family friendly as well. Grab your family or go out with some friends, this is a great place to dine, gather and enjoy some music as well. Cheers!

Live Music is what I look at when deciding when to stop in for a bite and a pint at the Region Ale.50 differant beers usually on tap along with other bottle and can offerings.Pair that with some solid Food Options and its a nice spot to have a date night or to meet up with friends.Make sure you arrive well ahead of an event such as live music, especially on weekends as they can fill up the large space pretty quick.Be patient on these busy nights and you wont be dissapointed.?

Arrived at this location at roughly 4pm on Saturday afternoon place was empty. We were sat promptly and greeted by our waitress. After waiting 20 minutes to place our order the waitress came back to take our order. Food was poor to mediocre cold small portions. Restaurant was freezing inside. We walked out of restaurant at 5:20 after a poor dinner. Won't be back.

Last two times I’ve been in there, bar area was mostly empty (Saturday nights when live music is on) and I’ve sat at a table by the back corner in excess of 15 minutes and never got service. Upon walking up to the bar the lady bartender acted like I was an inconvenience to her. Ordered a mojito each time and tasted not alcohol. when teying to go back up to the bar to cash iut, she was busy playing tambourine on stage with the band.No real desire to go back even though they offer live music. servive just isnt good
Acoustics don't allow for conversation unless you're sitting right next to each other! Maybe we went on the wrong day...Polka and Pierogi event. The food was great and we will try it again.

Their beer menu is obviously great. I would like it if they were a more transparent about food ingredients. For example, their BBQ sauce apparently is made with animal stock. But they do not seem to have a list of food ingredients readily available online. It would be helpful if items were more clearly listed as vegan/not vegan friendly.

My wife and I were there Wednesday night. They have bingo for those that want to play on wednesdays. First of all, our server, Jimmy is the best we've ever experienced anywhere. He is knowledgeable, attentive, and a pleasure to deal with. Ask for him by name. We ordered a brisket sandwich and Chili Mac and Cheese. Both were very good. They have a vast menu of all types of beers if you're a beer drinker, and Jimmy explains them very well if you have any questions.
