I met my daughter and grandson there for dinner. At first, the waitress was attentive, and the crab raggoon was tasty. I ordered unsweeten tea which was foul - tasting... I even asked for lemon to see if that would help... It didn't . When the waitress came by, I asked for hot green tea and water, which she never brought. We ordered sushi... It was AWFUL . The rice used was more like a spread, very chewy. The. Contents were not recognizable. This was a poor place for us to have chosen I am a good tipper, and under tipped for the first time in a very long timeThe owners need to step up their game.

My wife went to dinner this past Wednesday at Tokyo. My wife ended up getting food poisoning from this place. I've had several other friends/family state they have gotten food poisoning from here as well. I recommend driving 15 minutes to Columbus to get sushi and not risk getting food poisoning from this place.

I love the atmosphere and the customer service of this place. The food is good. The sushi menu is diverse. The food is a bit pricey, though.I do have a few concerns. One is the variety of the rest of the menu.I know that in a small town as Seymour that the palette can only be expanded so far but perhaps a ramen menu? Japanese curry and rice? Rice bowls? These are just some ideas but I think the variety would be welcome.Second is their take-out service. The phone is often left unanswered which makes ordering food or checking on orders difficult. The restaurant is sometimes closed during hours it should be open. I have ordered food and gone to pick it up only to find locked doors and there is no doorbell or anyway to tell if anyone is there or to alert them that you are outside. Apparently some reform is necessary in this regard. The third and minor complaint is the side salad. It's all lettuce and nothing but lettuce. Perhaps some other vegetables added?Overall a small but quaint restaurant that will leave you feeling full and happy albeit leaving your wallet a little light.

You have to give Tokyo props for being the only sushi place in Seymour! It's authentically decorated inside & I liked the Asian theme throughout it. It's not a large place but there are plenty of sections & I can't imagine there being a wait to sit. My booth had been worn down and had patches to try to cover the huge holes but it didn't bother me. I got the sushi with both crab and shrimp in it. I didn't care for it but also had never had shrimp in a maki roll so I figured that is just my personal preference. My husband got a bento box and he enjoyed it. Ingredients are not top quality, but for Seymour, it was pretty good. Service was fast without being rushed. They are open every day except Monday with a 2 hour break from 2-4pm.

Took my daughter here for her birthday lunch. As you enter the establishment you are greeted by the Asian American atmosphere. It was nice , felt, and looked clean. We had a great waiter. The service spoke volumes about the place. Everything felt like perfection when it came to the food. We had the crab Rangoon , and spring rolls , and shrimp tempura as appetizers. My daughter had the Philadelphia sushi rolls, I wanted more of a traditional steakhouse lunch so I had ordered the ny strip. It was all cooked to perfection ? compliments to the chef. The only two things we saw that could be improved upon was the seats needed the vinyl replaced due to wear and tear. They where still comfortable none the less. The second was when I ordered the NY strip I was looking forward to cutting my own steak, and it came cut into steak tips. The tips where still delicious and seasoned perfectly and cooked to my desired cook temp. So in a nut shell, we highly recommend this establishment. It was fantastic and we will definitely be back

Overall this place was not good at all! The sushi was just ok. The portions on hibachi meals are insanely small compared to others like Kabuto in Greenwood(which is one of the best!! If you think this place is good check out Kabutos!!) The fried rice has nothing to it, no egg nothing and j thought jt tasted horrible!! I absolutely hate spending money when something was so gross. Just always wanting to give an honest review so other people won't have to waste money!!

The food was good, the atmosphere was good, the only problem I found is that they don't accept AMEX, and their purchase system rejected several visa cards expedited in MX. Then as a business traveler I recommend bringing cash.Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetables and soupsParking: It's a general parking lot from the plaza.

It’s not bad flavor wise however the portions are really small for true price. If you want a good bang for your buck go to Esushi in Columbus you get way more bang for your buck great staff and portions. They need more staff but they girls are all very nice. Won’t be back however there’s just better option
