“Never thought I'd drive to Shelburn for dinner but I'm glad I did.Our local Mexican restaurants cook my food with meat when I request it not to be. Unfortunately, meat ends up in my food quite often. We usually drive to Vincennes or Sullivan as both of those restaurants give the extra effort and cook separate. We took a chance and drove over to Shelburn tonight.We've had Taco Tequila in Terre Haute a few times and they've been good about cooking separate. Our server tonight at Shelburn restaurant spoke really good English and understood my request. He also said the rice and beans are both free of animal ingredients.I ordered the mushroom fajita (without mushrooms) with no cheese or sour cream. I got a huge skillet of onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Which might not sound exciting but was exactly what I wanted. I noticed the menu didn't mention guacamole and the salad plate had none. I had to order a side of it for $4.50.Chips and salsa were excellent. The staff did great keeping up with us (I had not eaten all day). Food came out pretty quickly even with the special order. Everything looked and tasted great! It was a lot of food, like a whole lot, and I hate leftover fajitas so I ate more than I should have.So, vegans and vegetarians, you can feel good about eating here. The staff was excellent and were accommodating. Rice and beans are vegan friendly too. Thank you Taco Tequila!Absolutely loved the old train station. Super cool building and great atmosphere. Shelburn is lucky to have such a classy and clean Mexican restaurant. The local yokles drove by in their pickup and screamed at us on our way in. Also, be sure to watch your step on the way out the door. It's a doozy.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options on menu. Can customize to vegan pretty easily. “The food is always fresh and adventurous. They make up some of the most unusual combinations and flavors of food, but it's always out do this world! I love that she always has a wonderful soup selection. The service is always friendly and accommodating to helping you out. The place its self has such a cute little retro vibe, you're sure to enjoy anything they offer!”

“Peggy and Ray are awesome hosts! Food was amazing! Lots of signage and other Harley stuff to look at. Outdoor seating is nice but it was raining so we were happy to sit inside and enjoy a nice afternoon with the owners. Feels like your right at home. We will be back!”

“Our favorite pizza! My family is super picky and there are tons of pizza places to choose from, but Joe's is hands down our favorite! Their sauce is the best! Their sicilian salad with poppyseed dressing is my favorite side. “They had an event going on when we were there. Atmosphere was good. Friendly service. I had an iced pumpkin drink that was amazing. We love coffee and usually don’t get it out because we are particular about the quality, but I won’t hesitate to go back to Kup of Joy!”

“I absolutely love Bobe’s! Growing up I was used to going to the Vincennes Bobes and was hesitant to try but so glad I did! Food is great! Staff are so nice and very helpful! Plus there’s online ordering and a drive thru window! You can’t get any better than that! 10/10 would definitely recommend!”

“Hey you got to do something about the hours your open. Dont get me wrong I love your pizza and often crave it but rarely ever do I get to have it. Its understandable not being open in the mornings, even can get over the fact ur not open for lunch but I cant even buy it for dinner because u close before it gets dark. “The uptown has been a local stop in for me for 13 years. They serve good food burgers fries breaded tenderloins buffalo chips. Exc... Most memorable moment. When I met the man that became my husband there on his spring break from college.. I haven't been in a couple years now but it's still a stout drink for a good price I'm sure!”

“Food is OK, it's pretty much bar food... their BLT's with extra bacon is bomb!!!! Oh and the Bologna sandwiches are great, it's thick cut, not a slim cut!!!!! A draft pint of bud light is only 4 dollars!!!! Tiffany the bar tender is amazing!!!! The regular customers were great as well!!!!!!!”

“I love going here for the food. I always do takeout due to not being a resident in Sullivan. However, when I walk in they are so quick to say hi and make me feel welcome. I always notice that they are super clean and never have any food or messes on the floor or counters. I love their bread sticks and they are super fast with my order. Will be a returning customer and so will my family.Parking: It always has tons of parking very open and it's big with gravel and blacktop.Kid-friendliness: They have activities for the kids coloring pages.Wheelchair accessibility: They do not have any curbs it it a flat surface in all areas.”

“A local favorite. Staff is always on point with great attitudes and fast / friendly service. Something going on almost every weekend and no cover charges most of the time. Food never disappoints (Def try the Quesadillas and Salads). Cheap drinks and good times. For those not familiar, just a friendly heads up tho, they are cash only and smoker friendly.”

“Every time I have eaten here, the food has been great. The quality and quantity are great for the price. I had a to go order this time, but when I have eaten inside, the waitresses are very attentive. Best Chinese in the area. The only thing that is inconvenient is that they don't take debit. I understand why they do that, but that would be the only thing.”

Everyone in the drive thru was helped before I reveived my shake but the food was done quickly. I believe it was just missed in the rush. “I think the food is good & the place is clean. Staff is friendly. The drive thru on occassion gets congested and the person at the window should have them pull up and bring the food out. However, the service is still quick and food always hot & fresh which is worth the wait, to me. The hot ham & cheeses are really good! But i also enjoy the double bacon cheeseburger. Cinnamon rolls, YUM! They have the best bacon, egg & cheese biscuits!!”

“I just ate at this McDonald's while travelling. There was a large lunch rush, but the manager and workers worked well together with great attitudes. I heard the manager lay out a plan of who would be doing what, and the workers immediately worked together to get everybody their food. While I was waiting I heard him congratulate the team on their hard work. I was impressed.”
