I live in Tennessee but used to live in Shelbyville. At one time I had a Kroger card. I stopped in this store to buy something for my wife that we can't get in Tennessee. The item I bought was on sale for $1.49 vs $2.29. When I checked out the cashier asked if I had a Kroger card. I said no and she didn't offer to get me one. She rang up my order but it charged the full price. When I mentioned that it was on sale she told me I needed a Kroger card. I asked her if she had one I could use and she said no. It cost me almost $10 more. Nobody was at the Customer Service desk, but I found an employee to help me. She refunded the difference using a Kroger card at a register. The cashier could have done the same thing but I guess that was too much effort for her. I'm glad I moved away.

This the worst Kroger I have ever been to and I'm from Cincinnati... They had a lady literally tweeking out running around doing spins and being rude to customers. This lady got rude with me and then tried to put my bag in my cart while flying it through the air almost hits my daughter trying to do so. So I said something and she started say there's cameras you can watch them. This place is trash they have the rudest employees

Rita's Rant Since I posted about letting my voice be heard, I am dissatisfied with the Kroger store in Shelbyville Indiana. It is repulsive. The store is filthy, the deli food looks old, the meat case lights were out and the meat looked old. The store smelled rotten. Employees looked defeated and disinterested. This is not the kind of place where I buy my food. I will no longer support this store until it is cleaned up. If you agree, please don't give them your financial support.

We go here every week. Everything we have gotten has been super fresh. We love using the Kroger app because you can get digital coupons. I also have coupons mailed to me that have been generated through the app. I save a lot of money by shopping here. The only thing I do not like is how small the aisles feel, and how slow the check out lines are during the weekends. But I understand that some businesses are hurting right now due to being understaffed. Still completely recommend.

My wife and I have been looking for 20 ounce bottles of Vanilla Coke for years. Today we saw the pearly gates of Heaven. Kroger is now carrying them in a 6 pack.

Your ordering department needs to step up. Stop using Covid 19 as an excuse - if Mickey’s T-mart has it and Walmart then YOU failed to order the appropriate amount. It’s working out for you right now because I just bought multiple little jars of peanut butter for $2+ more than what I would have spent on a large jar. Heading to Walmart now for Silk Almond Milk (original) & garlic knots.

Better and cleaner than your average Kroger store. Usually well stocked and is much quicker since adding self check out lanes. Pharmacy staff a little rude sometimes but overall a decent place to shop and not deal with Walmart mess.
In these times, they have been overly helpful and best stocked store in town. Thank you for everything!

Now that they have remodeled, there are better fresh selections, including sushi. The one thing I wish they had was a good salad bar.

I was blown away by how GORGEOUS the cake was that we ordered for my little girls baby shower! I was moved to tears by the attention to detail and the LOVE that was put into how extraordinarily beautiful the cake was! They did a makeover. They removed several of the products we constantly and consistently purchased from them.. not only for ourselves but for the local drive-in that we work at. Some things ARE not meant to change. R.I.P.
