This place is ultimate nostalgia made present and real. My dad raised me on their pizza as a child. I remember waiting with him in the restaurant for our name to be called. It got so bad that I would beg him for it almost every other day! The interior is the same as when I was young. The pizza is just as amazing now as it was then too! Luigi's will never hear a bad word about them through my mouth. I'll continue to support this local business as long as I possibly can. Thank you to the all the people who work there now, and who've worked in the past. Thank you for bringing a part of my childhood into my adulthood.

Disappointed with their pizzas last couple years. Little cheese, unusually few toppings. We almost always order sausage and mushroom. Practically no mushrooms. Maybe only nine sausage pieces on the whole 16". Was always one of our favorites. Me sad . . . Anybody know what is going on??

We ordered 2 identical 16" pizzas, 6 toppings, double sausage, double mushrooms, double cheese with extra sauce. I picked them up at store, upon my arrival at 35 minute time1pizza just came out of oven, other pizza, elderly lady told me they forgot to make 2 pizzas. They were just putting 2nd pizza in oven. After I waited 20 minutes, got pizzas home. 1 pizza seriously lighter. By weighing them 1 pizza not 6 toppings, weighed 1 LB 8 ounces less than 1st pizza. Called next day to talk to manager, she not there, I complained about obvious weight difference, was told "they not make pizzas that way", excuse was made by 2 different people, called next day, manager still not there, left my phone number. They never called me!!! After 50 years buying their pizzas, we have never been treated so badly. Never going back either!!!

First time trying. 12” Pepperoni, Mushroom and XChesse. The cut and crust are Chicago Tavern style and delicious. Will order again.
Food was ok. Our order got confused and didn't get what we ordered, but the staff was nice and tried to make it right.

I was in South Bend for work. Of all the pizza I had, Luigi's Pepperoni Pizza with mushrooms and jalapeños was the best! The ladies working there there were very sweet and entertaining, as well. Their parmigiana cheese mix was tasty, too!

Younger girl at the register who took our order wasn't friendly at all. Not rude, just didn't give a sh*t. Thin pizza, not to crispy, still has a little chew to the dough. Good sauce, slightly tangy, good amount of cheese. For a basic pizza, it was actually quite good bit reminded my wife of a frozen pizza. How could she say that? Dirty, dingy and hot inside, so take out is best.

The place was squeaky clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the pizza ? was obviously made with top notch ingredients, the crust was thin and light, the sauce wasn't too sweet or salty and the perfect amount of cheese too make the perfect pie. Definitely a go to for Pizza.
