Absolutely horrible. I gave it two stars because my burger was good after they fixed it and comped our entire meal as it was so bad. The person who sat us was moderately paying attention to us and not friendly. It took our waitress a while to get to us. She was friendly but we barely saw her. Didn't refresh drinks until we asked and it took a while to get to us. I asked for the O'Rourke with an impossible burger ($1.50 up charge from beef!) and without bacon. After waiting a crazy long time, it came out with only the burger, raw onions, lettuce and tomatoes. It was stone cold. Not remotely even warm. My son got the chicken tenders which were fine. Fries stone cold. Husband got the special - Caesar and Mac and cheese. We don't eat pork. It had bacon on the bottom.

Great pub, next to ND. Wait staff is top notch. Kitchen is prompt even with it being near capacity. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my time at O'Rourke's. I went to Indiana with my mom and sister for the weekend and decided to try this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food and the service was. Our waiter was really nice, attentive, and made sure everything was all good and set. The food was brought out in a timely manner and it was delicious. Highly recommend going here and it's a cool atmosphere, especially on a Friday night.

This has a great public house ambiance, and the place is large enough to hold large parties. Conveniently located close to Notre Dame's campus, with free 2-hour parking closeby, makes it well-located. The food was overall good, I had the reuben (they call it the Da'Blarney) and the meat was very tender. Reuben fritters were not good. Drinks were over-priced and gimmick, stick to what you know. My largest concern was how bad the fish and chips were, which I judge every pub/public house by. The fish was dry, not crispy, and oddly shaped, like flattened. It was no good. My only other issue was that the service was very slow.

Good food and atmosphere staff needs a little grooming. But other than that, you gotta check this place out. I got the Reuben and French onion soup. Wow, yummy. Oh, and we all split the French fries and scotch eggs. The food was fresh and hot allow time to cool. ?

I wish I could have tried some of the food, or even a glass of water. But after we were seated, we waited for nearly 15 minutes and were never greeted, waited upon, or even acknowledged. 3 servers walked past our table over half a dozen times. I do understand that things get busy. I just wish we had been acknowledged. The only good thing I can say is that because of this awful experience, we left and I had one of the best meals at Bru Burger Bar. So, thanks for that.

After walking around the university nearby, I wanted to see the restaurant scene in the area and I was highly impressed with this Irish pub. I first want to say, the bartender Aubri was extremely friendly and made be feel welcomed in the pub. I was able to take my time without feeling rush to order. As for the food it was good, I had fish and chips. I recommend this pub if your in the college town.

The food was delicious and the service was fast. I had the power salad with salmon, which was cooked perfectly. The rest of the table had wi gs that were meaty and tasty.

Walked in, ordered drinks, waited 20 minutes, asked hostess for help, waited another 5 minutes, decided to leave, told hostess, she shrugged, we left.

Tried this pub as it is listed as an irish pub. Decor is very pub like. Friendly service at front of house as well as our server. We ordered Guinness beef stew and Fish and Chips and a Scotch egg as an appetizer. We were informed no bread bowls were available which is what the Guinness stew should have been served. We ordered anyway. Scotch eggs : were over done. Outer layer was extremely hard overdone. Guinness Beef Stew: Stew lacked flavor and color was quite pale. It was also cold we served (slightly warm). Bread bowl would not have helped. Fish and Chips: way too much breading ( see photo) again outer layered over cooked. Chips were cooked correctly. In addition we had A few beers Guinness and Harp. Guinness served in 20 oz glass $10 Harp severed in 16 oz pint $8. This is a bit pricey for there area. Overall all we were disappointed with our food. This location is right in the middle of Notre Dame right across from the Stadium and other athletic fields.

Best salmon with green beans and potatoes! I literally said mmmmm while eating it!Parking: Little tough to find parking. Had to walk from the parking garage in the snow. Not bad when it’s warm I’m sure.

For a bar, the beer was terrible. It was extremely watered down. I started by ordering a Guinness (a beer that sponsors Notre Dame) and it was aweful. It tasted like water. I then order a voodoo ranger and it was very watered down again. On top of the terrible beer, the service was terrible. It was busy a Friday night, but we were not helped for at least 15 minutes after we sat down. Many waitresses walked by, but no one acknowledged us. It took talking to the hostess to get a waitress to come over. On top of all that, the table we were sitting at was right by a side door. Kids kept walking in and out of the door all the time we were there. This door should remained locked when the patio is closed due to weather. Overall, the food was okay, but that was the only redeeming factor. We will never come back.

The Shepherds Pie is delicious! I discovered it on the Door Dash website about two weeks ago. I ordered two entree's of it. They came and were nice size portions and delicious. They were each $16.00. Today, I ordered same Shepard's pie and same price, and it came in a kiddy size container. It's not a good practice for a restaurant to change portion sizes like this. If they were out of the regular size container, then send two kiddy size portions. I love the food but disappointed in this practice.
