I have eaten here many times and this was a quick stop in for an appetizer and a cocktail before a day of shopping. The bar had a few people in it and a couple of tables were occupied. The 3pc band played good music! Great time to stop in 1145-noon. We sat at a bar table. Bartender was attentive.

Here's the thing. I really WANT to like this place. The wait staff is nice, it's got a good vibe, and is in a great location, but the food has been subpar every time we've been here. They call their burgers "Upside Down" which is just a strange marketing ploy. Their patties are incredibly thick, which throws the burger- to-bun-to-toppings ratio off, so even though my burger was cooked properly (medium), it ended up being dry. I also immediately judge a restaurant that has Kraft mac and cheese on their kids menu because it's disgusting, and how hard is it to make Mac and cheese? Come hang out on the porch and have a beer, but there are better places to get food DTSB.

I love the atmosphere. Food is good but a little pricey. My favorite is the Double Fried French Frieswith parmesan and truffle oil.

We LOVE going here! Haven’t tried the food yet however, the bar is AWESOME! Every drink is made to perfection and the bar manager is THE BOMB! Highly recommend!

Fast, friendly and reasonable priced. The staff is amazing and the live music is just lovely. This place embraces the best of south bend. The people and place with the beautiful riverwalk and sunset view.

Amazing service, best iced tea I've had since leaving Californi. the burgers are pretty good, just need to learn how to cook meat to medium rare better. But the star of our dinner was the Blue Buffalo Tots, no words can truly do this dish justice except it has the perfect balance between spicy from the buffalo sauce and the blue cheese with the cooling creaminess of the ranch dressing. we will certainly be coming back for more!

Was served raw chicken tonight This was our 4th time, I ordered the honey hot chicken which is great typically and it was raw after I took two bites. (Hoping I don't get sick)I was nice about it (even tho that is pretty bad) and our waitress said they would take it off the bill and remake it.We got the bill and we were charged for the sandwich. Couldn't believe that after we were told it would be taken off and TBH if I had gotten mad asked for a manager the whole meal would have and should have been comped. No manager even came to apologize. We ended up just not tipping because that probably would have been what the sandwich costs plus the waitress lied about comping it. Absolutely terrible service and we were taken advantage of for being chill.This is also a huge health concern so be wary and cut into your chicken if you eat here.

I gave it two tries before giving it a low rating.The service is dreadful from the moment you walk in the door. Food, when finally served, was forgettable. The prices, however, are memorable as you will not forget the high price you paying for below average service and so-so food.

Howard Park has great food and good service. The service depends on which person you get. So find your favorite and ask for them. They have good wine and some craft beer. Burgers are too big for me but the Veggie wrap is perfect. Tots with bleu cheese and Goat Cheese fondue are good appetizers. The view of 5he parlayground in the summer and the view of skaters in the winter is fun. A good place to eat then walk the foot path across the river to downtown!

We came here on a Saturday hoping to catch a football game. We easily found spots at the bar in front of the tv--perfect! They had a more limited draft list and more options in bottles. We each ordered a craft and the goat cheese fondue. The goat cheese fondue was smaller but tasty. It came with slices of toasted bread to enjoy. The later it got, more people came and had dinner. It wasn't particularly louder or noticeable as more people arrived. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is next to the park and has a nice outdoor patio area, though we didn't enjoy it given the winter weather..
