Really fun experience. They had trivia tonight, and the food and drinks meshed very well with that. The atmosphere is very good, prices are on par with the caliber of the dishes. I want to go back and try some more things and have a nice wine tasting evening.

First time trying this place. We tried a few bruschetta boards, a sandwich, and the pasta. My husband had the Jefferson Blvd Old Fashioned, and he said it was amazing. We tried the Sliced Apple board, and it was but dry. Not much brie or fig spread. I had the Turkey Jam sandwich, same thing, good, but dry. You have a good thing going with the fig spread, but you can barely tell it's there. My husband said the sauce in his pasta was runny, and it was. So, obviously, this prioritizes the wine bar atmosphere, it does, and has great ambiance. Definitely catered to social groups. We would come again. Note: We came after a ND home game, and the place filled up quick.Dietary restrictions: Has gluten-free options

I ate at your restaurant about a month ago and had the steak bites with Korean BBQ sauce and it was excellent. I ate again at your restaurant on 2/18 and had the same dish and it was not good at all. The sauce was dry and and appeared to not be mixed well, because when eating it the sauce tasted dry, the spices were not mixed in well and the flavor was not good. When I made a comment to the server he did not appear to care what my thoughts were concerning the flavor of the dish. I think if your costumer has problem with a dish you are serving, it is up to the restaurant to solve that issue. I was completely ignored by the server, even thought I complimented the dish from a prior visit. I am not sure I will return to your restaurant again due to being completely brushed off on how I felt about the meal I was served. I do not have a problem paying for a good meal, but when I tell you this was not a good meal, I feel your establishment needs to at least hear what I am saying. This was poor customer service.

We have been to the Cellar a few times and have been very satisfied. I recently attended a Sunday brunch event which exceeded my expectations. The presentation, atmosphere and environment that day was electric. The owners are a delight and I would highly recommend trying it out.

Atmosphere was nice, server friendly, but the food was so so. None of our meals were great. The Mac & cheese was good. The steak bites were not good at all, we had to order another meal.

Just wanted to share what an amazing experience we had tonight for our co-worker's wedding celebration. The entire event was just what I wanted, upscale for business but casual with relaxing vibes. Everything was just perfect... from your amazing kitchen staff who did a stellar job and were even helpful enough to help me carry things in (sorry, did not catch their names but they were so great) to our server Kaylee who was a little hurricane at handling our requests with a smile (while managing other tables). We had a variety of amazing flatbreads and bruschetta, each one simply delicious. Lisa was so great at helping me plan... just can't say enough good things about your whole team!! Food and wine were delicious and beautifully presented, service was stellar. Thank you all so much! Every guest remarked on what a gem your place is and can't wait to come back! Loved the cozy fireplace and sitting areas, as well as easy parking and proximity to Howard Park where we could take a stroll and enjoy the weather. Outdoor seating is definitely a plus as well. Highly recommend!Parking: Parking readily available near Howard Park so you can take a stroll after visiting.

Amazing culinary experience combined with delicious varietals and terrific service. Our server KK treated us like family and close friends. The Cellar is a wonderful restaurant - San Francisco experience in South Bend.

Another early supper/late afternoon at The Cellar Wine Bar and Kitchen with my sister Jane. The menu is so much fun to explore. The cocktails amazing (I had a Jeffereon Street Old-fashioned but was sorely tempted by the Harter Heights Hipster). The wines interesting and varied. I was thinking I'd try a Malbec from Argentina with a Cubano Panini. But I opted for a great cab (Iconclast) with meatballs. The herbs in the pork and beef meatballs were so good. Did I detect some rosemary? And the marinara sauce superb. And globs of burrata ensconced in the marinara. All accompanied by crostini. (Last time I had Adult Mac and Cheese. The time before that I had the andouille bruschetta with apricot spread. The Caesar Salad is excellent and easily shared by an army of 12. I didn't finish anything but have good meatballs for home eating. And, of course, crostini. We love Table 11 with it's comfy armchairs. The Cellar is so wonderful. Its owners embraced South Bend and Mishawaka and have created a space which is elegant yet casual. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
