Besides the wine flights the 3 of us got we got pub fries and the summer sausage with cheese. Both were 15 out of 10. I wish I could order rolls of the summer sausage
Definitely out of the way to get to but worth it. Staff has ALWAYS been friendly and helpful . They have some unique wines that others do not carry. They have you covered from dry to sweets. Nice food to add on to have with the wine. Doing the wine club worth it unless you just plan to not drink wine anymore. Great place to sit outside there and enjoy the peaceful setting while drinking their wine . They have events from time to time that are worth checking out. You'll be surprised by this winery that is so out of the way. Just don't give up on it since is in the country. Cheers!
We have been to nearly every winery in Indiana, and this one has the best wine in almost every varietal than any of them by far! Very nice atmosphere as well. You will love it!!

Went to Sunday brunch with my cousin. Absolutely wonderful! The folks are very friendly and knowledgeable. The blueberry wine is the best I’ve had (I get blueberry wine wherever I go). So, they brought out a brunch platter to end all. Savory, sweet, hot, cold, multiple flavors and textures and the presentation was beautiful! Will absolutely go back.

Owen Valley Winery has more than just great wine. They are a family owned business that really cares about their customers. The vineyards make a fabulous background as you sit outside to enjoy your wine. Inside seating also available.Select a sheet at the entrance to view what wines are available. The wine selection keeps getting better all the time. Thankfully, this winery has a nice selection of all types of wines and not just sweet wines like many other places around. I prefer a dry red, but I will occasionally grab a bottle of blackberry to go, as it makes a great sangria. I also like the Crimson and Cream wine. It is a smooth, lightly sweet rose'.Whenever I visit, I almost always get the Mediterranean board with house-made hummus, pita, dried fruit, mild peppers and olives. The bread with brie cheese board is also amazing. They have several other options for a light meal. They also have specialty cheesecake.Vegetarian options: Several cheese options. But if you can't eat dairy, the Mediterranean Board is about the only option.

I recently visited Owen Valley Winery with two friends, both of whom are in their mid-twenties, while I'm in my early thirties. The experience was deeply disappointing and left a sour taste in our mouths, unrelated to the wine. One of my companions was turned away on suspicion of having a fake ID. To be clear, we understand and appreciate the importance of adhering to age restrictions and laws. However, the handling of the situation was unprofessional and presumptuous. No proper verification process was undertaken, and it was based merely on "suspicion", which seems highly arbitrary. It felt more like an age-bias (it appeared at the time all patrons of the winery were 50+, maybe younger crowds aren't their target audience) than a genuine concern. What makes the situation even more perplexing is that after this, the establishment was happy to let me purchase four bottles of wine, knowing based on my friends and I's discussions that the bottles were to be split, showing an inconsistency in their service approach. It felt as if they didn't trust us enough to serve us, yet trusted us enough to make the sale and take our money. The ambiance of the winery is great, and the wine selection is commendable. However, the service overshadowed all of that. Customer service should be at the forefront of any business, especially one that focuses on hospitality and experience. This was a regrettable encounter that tainted our overall impression. We have been wine club members at Oliver Winery in nearby Bloomington for many years and were hoping, now that we are located more closely to Owen Valley, to move our membership and still enjoy the winery ambiance that we've come to love.Sadly, based on this experience, we won't be returning or recommending Owen Valley Winery to friends and family. A little understanding and professionalism can go a long way in ensuring customers feel respected and valued.
